Best way to Collect Money someone owe's you.

Pretty good observations, imo. My general rule is that I would rather give money to a friend than lend it to them. Just never works out well. Unfortunately, ANYBODY that regularly gambles, ESPECIALLY with good acquaintances and friends, has run into this before. The only thing that will put an...

Best way to Collect Money someone owe's you.

If it has been a very long period of time, your best chance is probably to offer a deal. Tell him you will take 100 now and call the rest off. Hate to say it, but this is most likely your only chance at recouping some of the dough at this point, since you said it has been years already.

    T.a.r. Challenge

I don't know about Rodney being the 'dog in that game, but I would be willing to take Stevie for some sweat if that happens. Anybody I know, or I guess on the good action list. I honestly don't know if I am on there, but I have bet on a couple of matches, and am pretty sure I can get about 30...

In Atlanta/Alpharetta for 3 weeks... Where do I find:

Just to warn you. The Friday night tourney is a C and D only affair. If you can play, it might not be the best idea, since they will kick you out, or not let you play regardless. Having said that, have fun, and best of luck!

In Atlanta/Alpharetta for 3 weeks... Where do I find:

The better rooms in Atlanta are 1. The Pool Room in Duluth(exit 102 off of I-85, I think) 2. Marietta Billiard Club in Marietta(bit of a drive from Alpharetta) 3. Mr. Cues II on Chamblee Tucker Rd (basically the North intersection of I-285 and I-85) I would highly recommend The Pool Room in...

    My Take on Speed Pool

Here's what they should do. Go ahead and play "speed pool", but first, fill the room with two feet of water(I would prefer TAR, lol), and make them wear Andre the giant's shoes. I also want them to wear prescription glasses that aren't theirs, shoot opposite handed, and do 17 push-ups between...

    Joss vs Schon vs Pechauer

I have owned 5 or so Schons, 3 or 4 Joss cues, including a pre-split, and 2 Pechauers. I personally think that, with the exception of the pre-split Joss, the Schons are superior in pretty much every way. The Pechauers would come in second, with the Joss coming in third, simply because the...

If that is true, they sure lied to their dealers, lol.

Action challenge on a 10-footer - anyone interested?

There used to be a two pocket table in Mobile, AL, as well. And, 10 foot tables are still around. I used to have one in a pool hall I ran in Phenix City, AL. All you have to do is use a conversion top rail on a snooker table. We had a Gandy, but the pockets weren't especially tight(Gandy, go...

    T.a.r. Challenge

I don't know too many good players who want to play 9 ball any more, to be honest. Most have been on the 10 ball bandwagon for the last couple of years. It just eliminates soooooooooooooo many problems. I would like to see it if it does go down:p. Might even drive down to sweat it, as long as...

    T.a.r. Challenge

If Donnie will play Stevie some 10 ball, I would be open to side action(I like Shake-n-bake).

    Manufacturer of Brunswick Centennial Cues

Unless they have changed in the last 2 or so years, I can tell you without a doubt that Joss makes the cues in the Centennial package.

    What do YOU expect?

Sorry that I didn't answer any of your original questions. I mighta missed, you know, the actual reason for your post:p. Most of the reasons that good mechanic work is hard to find are simple. Most guys, either 1. Don't have the proper tools, such as small levels(preferably at least 4-6, and...

    What do YOU expect?

Let me preface this by saying that this is just my opinion. No matter where you live, there is access to some REALLY good mechanics. Ernesto, RKC, Mark Gregory, and a few others whose name I can't presently recall. If you want really quality work, get one!!!!!!!!!! Although the number of good...

    Best break cue

For me, there is two names. Rick Howard, and Andy Gilbert. I personally prefer either to any other I have ever tried. And I have tried a bunch, lol.

    the best pool cue brand?

Most of the older "Runde era" Schons sell for far more than the original price. The only 4 or 5 guys that I know that owned them made money after selling, and they all bought them used. Some of the more sought after cues out there, now.
