    pictures of table

If the rails bolt into the side of the slate I would pass on it until I found one that has the rail bolts thru the slate, like todays tables are. How much are they asking for it?

    outdoor pool table next week

`Just one pic today of the finished table, lots of lessons learned, Hot and windy the whole time installing the bed cloth, the slate was too hot to rest your hand on while brushing/cleaning/scraping it off which also speeded up the set up time working with the contact cement . The Sunbrella...

    outdoor pool table next week

update... the sun was hot today in S.Jersey and very windy too. This table had some kind of rubberized cloth on it, very sticky and came off in lots of little pieces that blew in my face while I was kneeling and laying on my back staring into the sun scraping it off. I should finish it tomorrow...

    outdoor pool table next week

That may work in the pocket area just for the tabs under the slate, I think any type of regular contact cement or spray glue may eventually fail due to moisture or the heat from the sun breaking it down but I don't know. Maybe there is a marine grade contact cement I can find that will work, I...

Doe's anyone have a suggestion as to what kind of glue to use to hold the Sunbrella brand outdoor cloth to the 1 piece slate? I am not to worried about the sides of the slate as they will be glued and held down by the rails and rail bolts but I am concerned about what to use in the pocket area...

    table pics 6

Yes, it's quite a climb. The pic is just after turning off of 151 onto 664, then it's about 3 miles up to the resort entrance and then 2.5 miles up to the top. I was up there on Tuesday and Friday last week and I always seem to get caught behind some kind of slowpoke going up, going down is...

Dont take this the wrong way but is there something to be gained or lost by proving / failing to show you what I can/can't do? Thanks for the compliment on the work, even though any mechanic can do what I do.

    cloth/pocket problem

Maybe the ball did do it, it does look like you are missing the tab in the center to me. You should call them to fix it if they will before you try it.

    cloth/pocket problem

Yes, This is how I would do it. 1. Pry the pocket liner loose and pull it down and out thru the bottom, then get under the table and pull the cloth loose from under the slate in the pocket area and the edge of the slate in the pocket but not the top edge of the slate. 2. Get some 2 in masking...

    Slate glue down advice

Try to use the same technique as you would with staples, it's tricky for sure. You may have to do it a few times to get it right.

    cloth/pocket problem

Thats not what I was expecting to see. It looks like it came unglued because it was pulled to tight for the glue to hold it or the glue wasn't set up yet so the tight cloth pulled it away from the slate. There should be a few tabs glued and pulled under the slate to hold it, yours looks as if it...

Mercury Ultra vs. Tour Edition cloth?

I have found that the Tour edition shows ball marks alot quicker than Simonis, there really is no better cloth. Ball marks are not wear but they are unsightly to alot of people. Tour Edition is a good tough cloth but I don't use it anymore. I would use something like Velocity pro before I used...
