    Bender Pics & Question

Hey Steve You betcha-Bryan rings are right on. I'll try and call Bender tomorrow. I mic'd the tapers on all the Bender shafts I have (can you tell I've been a bit bored lately) and all of them are exactly the same. We'll see. If he wants me to send it to him, I'll do just that. If its...

    Bender Pics & Question

Ebony around the pin. Its an ivory or white phenolic sleeve. If the joint was repaired, it was done by someone who knew what they were doing. I think it would have been easier to just match the rings on the shaft without adding the white section. If I don't hear back from Bender via email...

    Bender Pics & Question

Thats certainly a possibility. However the pin is engraved Bender. Gilbert has similar ringwork to Benders as does BCM. Benders have a brown tinge within the silver ladderwork and all six shafts have that brown tinge as well as the same taper.

    Bender Pics & Question

Hello Mason, Nice ringwork on your cues !! Hopefully, I'll hear back from Mike Bender. I acquired this cue in a multi cue/$$ trade and don't have a lot of $$$ in it. I noticed the oddity before the deal was consummated but the thing hit so darn sweet (subjectively speaking) that it was worth...

    Bender Pics & Question

Thanks Kevin. I emailed Mike Bender and hopefully I'll hear back. As I said in my original post, I have two other Benders and the ringwork on these shafts match exactly with the others. What is interesting is that the length of total ringwork on the buttside of this cue (the white section and...

    Bender Pics & Question

Nice simple looking ebony Bender with ivory ferrules and one of the smoothest and softest leather wraps I've ever seen. The white joint is sleeved and it could be ivory but I can't tell for sure. This cue sure hits nice (subjectively speaking) Question for Bender experts - is it typical for...

    Barenbrugge Cues

Actually, he's going to have two cuemaking plants, the one in China you mentioned, and the one here in the states. The one here in the states is to be a joint venture with another established force in the cuebuilding industry. The new cue line will be SchmelkeBrugge. Being in Arizona, hes...

    Barenbrugge Cues

Will-you're being way too serious. Barenburggers lives a couple of miles from me, hes a friend and I see him fairly often........... I was jesting a bit. BTW-you should have said "I knoweth of whom I speak";) And, subjectively speaking, not many cues hit better than his. Have A Really Swell...

    Barenbrugge Cues

Battle Of The Butterfly Guys You must have been talking to someone else other than Barenbrugge. He is an absolute *#@&!! PaulyBlatz-having been able to spend a fair amount of time playing with a Fanelli and a Barrengerergee, there is a world of difference in how (subjectively speaking) the...

    Barenbrugge Cues

Inflation has taken its toll on cuemaking in Arizona. A truckload of bottled root beer doesn't get it anymore. Add 40 lbs of medium roasted gourmet coffee and season tickets to the Arizona Diamondbacks (5th row up right behind the the Diamondbacks dugout) and thats just for his plain cues...

Wow-A Crocodile Tear AJ, I do believe that I was the second owner of your cue. I was told by the guy I bought it from that he was the original owner and that he had only had the cue for a couple of months but money issues forced him.... blah blah blah...we all know the story:rolleyes: . I...

    Another Deano Cue review

I've chatted with a Dean Cue owner whos opinion I highly value and these cues play pretty sporty. For $300, the owners have a nice serviceable SP. Just to reiterate what a lot of the Dean Naysayers were semi-ranting about, the forum marketing of the cue (comparing to Searing, SW's etc, saying...
