    1st tournament

Thanks guys! I won the 1st match 7-3 then down 4-0 second match and won 7-5 then 3rd down 5-2 and won hill hill. The 4th match I never got going as my hands were cramping and lost 7-0 to one of the top players and the last set I had the guy 5-3 and couldn't close it out and lost hill. I was tied...

    1st tournament

Today was my 1st time playing in a 9-ball event. I went 3 rounds on the A side then bombed 2 straight on the B side with the last match going hill hill. I finished 17th thru 24 and I'll take that as a win considering I haven't played in 25 years.

TO ALL IN HELENE'S PATH .......BE SAFE

We are in Nova Scotia and the hurricanes and storms are brutal in areas here as well. A friend was coming here for a visit when I believe it was Fiona that hit and he never made it. They were somewhere in New Brunswick and the entire roof got ripped off his motorhome. We had some big trees on...

    Change my mind. Elkmaster

I used Blue Diamonds on my snooker cue. They had a reliable crisp hit when using alot of side when playing safeties and didn't mushroom like an Elk Master

It's been a long time (25 years) since I played snooker/pool and this Saturday I'm gonna give it a go and play in a 9-ball tournament. I'm definately not ready but willing to step out and give it a shot. My break is OK ,banks are good, kicks are decent and have an idea on playing safe. I have...

What do you guys think of this estimate?

I'm in Nova Scotia Canada so prices will vary from the USA. I bought a used 9ft and the mechanic and helper brought the table and assembled it. The $700 CAD included distance, Aramith tournament balls, wood triangle, wall cue rack, 4 one piece house cues and a rake. I thought it was pretty fair...

    I went back today...

There used to be a cue guy with a lathe at alot of events years ago and it was easy/convenient to get a shaft cleaned/resealed or a new tip put on and well worth it. There was no need for a glove

    I went back today...

I'm old and stuck in the past and still use a wood shaft. I just started hitting balls again after a 25 year hiatus and betwixed between good and bad shots and thinking WTF how'd I miss that easy dog. There is no magic cue/shaft that'll help me as it's a combination of old age/eyesight/health...
