Looking for a cue that plays like an old Falcon

I play with a Falcon that I've had since the early 90"s. I had it turned down to 11.5mm the way I like it. Its straight as a die and the only issue is the butt cap is cracked and needs replacing.

    HOW DO WE LEARN ??

The guy I play with on Fridays asked me if I was having fun and am i even thinking. I said yes I'm having fun and no I'm singing to the music. I was on auto-pilot and the CB on a string. It's getting more and more common when I'm playing to get in the so-called zone and having that eurific...

Max Eberle on people who play on barboxes "Pool players need to grow some balls"

The poolhalls here in Nova Scotia are mostly 9ft with one location having a token 6x12. The location i go to put in two 7ft tables and they mostly get used by the tournament organizers to lay out the tournament sheets etc and have yet to see anyone play on them.

One of the most phenomenal shots I've ever seen in snooker

I'll give him props for not fouling being over the ball but the thin hit and ending behind the green was a fluke.

    RAXX Pool Room????

There was a RAAX bar/poolroom in Kingston Ontario that was a nice place to play in. I'm not sure if it's still going as that was some time ago since I was there. They had a raised bar/restaurant, plenty of 9ft tables and awesome food and nice looking waitresses. It was a stand a lone building...

Answers to Common QUESTIONS About Using SIDESPIN ... When, Why, and How to Use It

I was once called a showboat because I spun the ball. I didn't care as it was poetry when I had the CB on a string and my creative juices were flowing. I'm too old now to play that way and have toned it down but it's still nice knowing how to spin for position or a breakout

    Specialized Chalks - Pricing/Performance/Pre-shot routine/etc.

I have switched from Master to Triangle since finding a new cube at the poolhall. It's a different shade than the 5-6 new cubes that have been in a baggie for some years. It goes on smooth with less swiping compared to the Master or Triangles that I've been using

Ronnie O'Sullivan does a jump shot - in a snooker match.

I started playing snooker in 1969 and never saw any jump shots and they're probably illegal from day one. I jumped a red over another red and my opponent got pissy and I told him to get over it. After that I started jumping the CB off the black onto the pack to break them open.

Why did I miss the ball? Did my aim fail, or was it my mechanics?

Place the CB on the balk line aiming straight to the spot. Put your cues down beside you with the tip almost touching the the CB and the cue resting on the rail and a loose grip. Step in and put your bridge hand under the cue. There should be no weight(pressure) on your bridge hand and from that...

Why did I miss the ball? Did my aim fail, or was it my mechanics?

I practice shooting that shot making both balls with my eyes closed as well and what I get out of that is staying down on the shot and the feeling the cue.

Why did I miss the ball? Did my aim fail, or was it my mechanics?

It all depends. Sometimes about 8-12" from the pocket on the bed. I'll place my bridge hand on the pocket and if trying one-handed pocketing both balls the cue rests on the pocket.

Why did I miss the ball? Did my aim fail, or was it my mechanics?

This practice routine unmasks everything period! Straight shooting, stance and stroke and will improve your game. You'll see automatically what you're doing wrong. Pot the ball with a stun, follow to make both balls and a draw shots. It'll show if you're putting any side on the ball and how good...

Why did I miss the ball? Did my aim fail, or was it my mechanics?

I'd attribute the most common misses to concentration/laziness and not so much aiming/stroke. After playing for years most of us learn where to aim etc.

Looking to purchase a pool table for my home. Need some advice.

Each pot has a 60 watt LED and not offensive to the eyes while playing or sitting and good light on the bed of the table. The combination of the 4 ceiling lights and table lights go well together

Looking to purchase a pool table for my home. Need some advice.

I clean the balls by hand with the Aramith cleaner ( works great) and the lights came from Amazon and provide decent light on my 9ft. I put the ping pong balls up for keeping score
