OB should get placed back as well as the CB. Why should the incoming player be penalized

Hitting better with a hard tip?

I tried Elk Masters on my snooker cue and found them too mushy and switched to Blue Diamonds and liked the hit and consistency. On my pool cue I had a med Moori put on and could do whatever I wanted with the CB. Fast forward 25 years later the same Moori is on and gone hard. It'll hold chalk but...

Everyone can look. But only a few can see.

I had a steady customer ( nice guy) and he rapped the cue on the rail and broke the shaft and then he broke the butt. He said he should be winning with the spot I was giving him (6-red snooker) and he's quitting me for life. Two days later he came to the poolroom and looked at me and said ok...

Total knee replacement yesterday, no pool for a while

The wife had a knee done and did her own exercises etc and was out and about in no time. She had the 2nd knee done and it definately took alot longer to recover than the 1st one. She gets pain in it and said she wishes she hadn't done it. She manages a 5km walk and a 10km bike ride every day...

What is in your bag currently AZB version?

I've got an old 3x6 case( falling apart) with a Falcon playing cue, Dufferin sneaky Pete break cue, an old ash snooker cue, small towel, tip shaper and pic and a blue circle CB . I also have a glove that I rarely use. The snooker cue is going in the closet as I have no use for it.

A couple signs to put up and found a new drinking game. It's not a full set but if they're shooting one of the balls in the set and miss they have to drink a shot lol

I'm still working on the room as well. I've got a couple shelf tables, bar stools, weighted cue holders and looking to get a 12' shuffleboard. I've got some pool related signs and cue rack to put up yet. We call it the poolroom lol and waiting for the retro fridge and the bar to get installed

    The struggle is real

A friend did a video on a camcorder many years ago and after watching it over and over I realized how lazy/sloppy I had gotten. I quickly straightened that out.

    The struggle is real

I only hit a few balls every day slowly trying to play again after 20+ years of not playing. My wife came down to watch and first thing she said I wasn't getting down on the cue like I used to. I said I need to video me so I can see myself so she'll set up her tablet for me. I immediately went...

    Best Non Metal Rack.

I have a wood rack and I like the way I can push the rack forwards and lift the rack up. With a plastic rack I'm more fumbly as there's no weight to it.

Most of the tire kickers don't read the friggin ad! When I post something I usually put Price is FIRM, no trades and the condition along with pics. I had one jerk when I was selling my motorhome get pissed when I wouldn't get it safetied for him. The ad said in as is condition. He thought for...

Cue Power: Snooker versus 9 ball (Argument settler)

I started off playing snooker with the typical snooker stance and as I learned I developed a box style stance that let my arm go thru alot better . I was more solid at the table and up from the cue 4-6". At 71 years old I'm just getting back into playing pool and trying slowly to get where I'm...

Cue Power: Snooker versus 9 ball (Argument settler)

I don't think I've used half the power playing pool as I did in snooker. If I was setting the tone against an opponent in snooker I'd let my stroke out with a few power bomb stun/draw shots . Playing off the pack or object ball to get back into balk doesn't take alot of power. On a 9ft it's a...
