The partial draw works to an extent. The issue is that you end of playing from the same crop of players versus someone else. Its almost like two flights of players.

I agree that I would rather watch high level pool. But I just like watching pool in general and know what I am watching so I can gauge my expectations.

I enjoy watching the event and I am ok with the decrease of pro players. Gives that level of player more of a chance. Still have to have a handful of pro players to get some eye balls though. I know its a regional tour and understand that, so I don't get upset when 600 fargo players don't run...
