Mosconi Cup, Team USA, the real problem still exists.

Possibly true but they are using stock components, made by big companies and assembling and adjusting them. Do-it-your-selfers used to do this too. Making shafts and club heads is way beyond anything a small guy can do. Milling custom putter heads can be done in small shops. I actually think the...

Mosconi Cup, Team USA, the real problem still exists.

Can you buy $1,000 cues at Dick's Sporting Goods? Isn't it somewhat odd that so many fancy expensive cues are made in a 1 man backyard workshop. Not exactly Callaway's business model.

    *****they are all dead*****

At least it's better than the constant threads on getting more kids to play pool, as if that's a great idea.

Those Two Undercover Monster players are real. I have photographic evidence!

Right, but every time he threw out the bait, guys rose to it. Trolling of course...for fish Hence over 280 posts in the thread. Did you ever hear of Phil Hendrie?

Those Two Undercover Monster players are real. I have photographic evidence!

You guys are such fish. The guy had a little fun with you, and you still don't get it. Well, a few do, the rest must have been born last night.

Why not get baby boomers back

What is the big deal with these constant threads? I've played pool off and on for over 40 years and never met a pool player that belonged to an "pool organization". 99% of players never did and never will. Neither will darts, shuffleboard, bocce ball, etc., etc, What is so wrong about just...

Those Two Undercover Monster players are real. I have photographic evidence!

Seems a lot of people in azbilliards have an underdeveloped sense of humor.

Those Two Undercover Monster players are real. I have photographic evidence!

Well azbilliards has a little traffic, but it sure isn't twitch. Anyway have fun with the "monsters", but are sure they aren't "beasts",,,and are they going to "snap it off" or "take it down"? You weren't a Phil Hendrie fan by any chance?

Those Two Undercover Monster players are real. I have photographic evidence!

This thread reminds of a Twitch gaming girl, who says she is a pro gamer just to rile up guys. They continually call her stupid, when in fact they are the stupid ones. She's playing them like a fiddle, and reportedly makes a ton of money from donations. She is downright hilarious, but what is...

Nature vs Nurture: New study in favor of Nature

Because there really has been little incentive to play pool besides just having some fun on a night out, a lot of "gifted" people do other things. Reaching their potential playing pool just really wasn't high on their list of things to do. I've seen that with my own eyes. In my university the...

This is actually a better thread than 90% of the threads in the main forum.

    Beware of Scammer C-List

Who buys on Craigslist without seeing the merchandise in person anyway? Even "Craigslist" tries to beat this into the buyer's heads; and the sellers too. Do business face to face locally period.

    Original Filipino Invasion

Of course you know that huge prize was an anomaly coming from the deranged brain of a convicted felon scam artist, who is now convicted of another felony. For pool to even have been involved with that nutcase doesn't say much for pool. Only a lunatic would have made the promises he did, and...

    Jump Cues Suck! Period.

I get it. All games to be the best are difficult at their core, What makes one more difficult are beating the people that also play the game. Some games/sports just have a lot bigger incentive (most often money) to be good in, so the opponents are going to be tougher. It's the big fish in a...

    Jump Cues Suck! Period.

Comparing golf which is designed to be played in 3 dimensions with the ball often flying through the air is a stretch. Croquet is a better comparison to pool. I hope nobody in a pool forum is going to belittle the sport of croquet. Oh and the belly putters have been banned in professional...

    Jump Cues Suck! Period.

Well you're right of course. Back when I actually played more pool...the late 60's and early 70's in nice Brunswick Bowling alleys, with bunches of gorgeous 9' Gold Crown tables. Jumping balls was "horsing around" and they'd boot you off the table. Pool has come a long way since then....oh wait...
