    It's Been Six Weeks Now

It's been six weeks since I ordered the Diamond Professional table. I wonder if they have any kind of update for me? Maybe I should just drive down and talk with them? Thanksgiving is next week and then Christmas is right behind it. r/DCP

Brunswick gold crown 7 video ..everything new walk through from the expo!

Roger that. Purchased from Orner Billiards in Indianapolis just before Christmas of 2002. Was delivered/setup in early January 2003. The Orner Billiards guys are the only ones that have ever worked on it. By worked on it I mean new cloth and making the pockets smaller. It had the 5" pockets...

Brunswick gold crown 7 video ..everything new walk through from the expo!

Highly unlikely I could get $5,000 for my GCIV here in southern Indiana. I'd be lucky to get $2,500.

Brunswick gold crown 7 video ..everything new walk through from the expo!

I don't know. I just know it plays really tough and stingy. Balls typically will go in on the break but it seems like rarely does it give up a decent runnable spread. I suppose it might just be me. When I get the new Diamond Professional if the same thing happens I will then have a pretty...

You would change your mind if you played on my Gold Crown IV.

Why All the DONUTS on Dr. Dave’s Table? AWESOME DRILLS for Players of All Levels!

Dr. Dave, That controlled draw drill at the 13:00 mark is something that players need to master. It's not that easy to draw back just a few inches. I've had it occur many times and if I can cheat the pocket and draw back off the rail and then bump into position I will do so. But sometimes you...

    International Open 2025

Just curious here - why is it called Bigfoot? Is it because it's played on a 10-foot table? And are they playing 9B or 10B?

    International Open 2025

What kind of table are they playing on? And can somebody go and measure the pockets, both corner and side? And please don't say they look 4.5" to me. Somebody go and measure them. Using two balls would be fine.

    Side Pockets

Are you saying side pockets are being reduced to 4" and 4.5"??? Or are you saying the that's the corner pockets?

What, nobody knows what Earl is up to nowadays?

    Side Pockets

Corners are 4.5" and they play really tough/tight. It's a 22+ year old Gold Crown IV. Balls typically don't want to wipe their feet and fall in on my table.

    Side Pockets

There's always alot of talk about what size the corner pockets are but I am just wondering here. Are side pockets always 1/2" wider than the corner pockets? Or is it normal for a table with 4" or 4 1/8" or 4 1/4" corner pockets to still have 5" side pockets? A long time ago I had a very good...

    Tips For This Shot

Old thread here but this is a belated FYI, I practiced this shot again about 50 times tonight. Most of the time I hit the CB to right just slightly and missed the shot. r/DCP

    Slow Rolling Question

Yes, I enjoy playing. A great deal of the time it's frustrating. I've played others a few times over the years. But that's been my main weakness. Living in a small town there's basically nobody worth a hoot to play against. The two people that I've played with over the years both died of...

    Slow Rolling Question

Jeepers folks, no, I am not slow rolling the break, get real. I am going to try the other three diagonals later today.

Billy Incardona Life Story Released Today

I'd say it's a tie between him and Grady. But Billy, Grady, and Buddy were amazing! They should have had their own comedy show.

    Slow Rolling Question

Yes, but as it slowly got closer and closer to the corner pocket it just seemed to want to drift/roll off to the left a little. Having said this, I've heard Grady Mathews and Bill Incardona talk about the CB rolling off on Accu-Stats videos before. And MitchAlsup: 1) The table is level 2)...

    Slow Rolling Question

https://pad.chalkysticks.com/da505.png As some of you read on the 106 Breaks & 7 Chances thread I attempted to slow roll the 6B up about 8-10 inches the other night and missed it to the right. So, tonight, I attempted a drill for slow rolling as shown in the diagram above. And every time I...

A Catalog of Common SCRATCHES, and How to Avoid Them

https://pad.chalkysticks.com/927c3.png This one is always a killer for me. I usually scratch in the side. I saw a very similar shot jump up and bite Johnny Archer against Efren Reyes in a 10-10 match at the Sands Regency in Reno years ago. r/DCP
