Ok, so, I am somewhat confused now. What exactly kind of wood does Diamond make their tables with nowadays? Is it a somewhat synthetic type wood? Is it hard rubber? Is it an actual wood? And I assume there are various colors/stains that are available? Such as cherry, oak, black, etc, etc.

No, the area is only 19x21 where the Diamond Professional is going to go. And remember, the GCIV will still be in the basement of my house.

That is the $64,000 question Jay. I suspect slightly better. And if so, it might be worth all this $$$ and effort. If not, trust me when I say this, it's no big deal.

You might have a better playing one than I do. As everyone is aware, tables can vary from one to the other. Worst case scenario a year or two down the road I sell either the GCIV or the Diamond Professional. Then again, I might just keep them both.

I'm not bashing Gold Crown tables. Or the Gold Crown IV. I'm just saying my GCIV is either jinxed and/or it plays extremely tough. This new Diamond will most certainly play better than my GCIV.

At the 9:10 mark of this match Bill Incardona mentions how the Gold Crown IVs and the TV table break stubbornly.

Looking down the road a couple of years or so.......... If I decide I don't really like this Diamond Professional either I might just sell - or try and sell - both the Gold Crown IV and the Diamond Professional and buy myself a brand new Gold Crown VII. Time will tell, I guess. But the best...
