Thanks for saying this, I made the jump and stated over today and did exactly what you said and drilled it out to the plastic inner lining and did a complete vault plate design like the way it hits plays much better.

Update on the project, everything worked out great and was a success. Plays amazing hit I can only describe as solid. Tomahawk is a superior material to the stock material that's used on the cynergy IMHO. The set up just plays all around better, material was cut to half the size on the normal...

Made a demo mock up out of Juma of what I am talking about doing, please excuse the resolution quality of photos and the glue on the out side of the ferrule I applied uv glue to see how fast it cures as an experiment, has nothing to do with the project.

Anyone modify their cuetec cynergy shaft with a different ferrule material? I plan on drilling out majority on the old material as far as it enters the shaft then adding a "vault type" setup with tomahawk.

Try out Zan tips, Can replace every tip you just named possibly even j/b :thumbup::rolleyes:

I am currently playing with a Cynergy but I was wondering if anyone can shed any light on the peachaure rogue, Is the taper in-between the cynergy and the Revo feel wise? Is it around the same deflection as the cynergy less maybe? Please I would like to hear some feedback on the 12.4.

How is the taper compare to the cynergy? Is it less aggressive? I love my Cynergy but may feel like I may have more control with my bridge with something not as aggressive. Also does it deflection more or less than the cynergy or around the same would be fine? And yes I have owned both Revo's...

Get a cynergy, once that soft sniper tip gets beat in a bit or replace it with a firmer tip and you will be potentoly thrilled. Just remember its a thin 12.5 mm shaft with a long taper so it takes a bit to get use to.

Low deflection shafts actually DEFLECT More than a standard shaft. They put less deflection or ( squirt ) on the cue ball by deflecting out of the way faster than a standard shaft... Naming them High deflection shafts just doesn't sound right so they call them low deflection...
