Any Reason Not to Use a Brush or a Vac With a Brush Attachment on Cloth?

At my local spot I play 3c, they vacuum the tables after every game. This is common practice in 3c These particular tables are the fastest playing tables in Houston and they don't have to replace the felt that often. But they do anyways about once a year. I doubt the brush hurts the felt but...

One Pocket Skills v Jump Cues

From my experience when my opponent jumps. A very large majority of the time he misses the whole object ball or doesn't even come close to making it. I actually get excited when they go for the jump vs the kick. And when I know a player is dependent on that jump cue. I'll play safe accordingly.

Two Weeks in Western Europe - Easiest Way to Find Rooms to Play In and/or Spectate?

There are definitely many places to play 3c in Houston. Some better than others. It's not always easy to find someone to play so better to come with a friend. But if anyone from out of town wants to see some of the places I'd gladly show them. The viets here are cool if your cool. As for...

Ball never touches bottom of pocket

On a drop pocket table I once fired a bank into the side, ob flew around the rim towards the opposite side and hit the back of that pocket and back onto the table. No lie it was ridiculous.

    8ball 7' vs 9'

I'm going to guess you have a strong break.

    8ball 7' vs 9'

On the 7' you are more likely to get more clusters. While it is easier in a sense to break them out, because the table is smaller. It's also easier/more likely to push them back into each other or other balls because the table is smaller. It is easier to luck the object balls in while it is...

2023 3-Cushion World Championship: Wed., Sept. 6 - Sun., Sept. 10: Ankara, Turkey

At 2:46:27 Tran uses a bridge. That's pretty uncommon from my experience. Most of the carom halls i've been to don't have bridges available. I think i've only seen that a few times before. I don't watch nearly as much 3c as I used to.

    8ball 7' vs 9'

If this was true then why didn't Judd Trump win the U.S. Open?

    8ball 7' vs 9'

No because we're talking about 8 ball. Not 14.1

    8ball 7' vs 9'

14.1 clusters and 8 ball clusters are much different. In 8 ball I have 7 chances to break out a ball. In 14.1 I have 14 chances to break out balls. In 8 ball you have to make your way around your opponents balls. (or risk breaking out yours from theirs and bumping theirs back into yours)...

    Best Chalk? Taom?

Never used BallTeck but Taom is pretty darn good, especially for a home table.

    8ball 7' vs 9'

I can't tell you how many players i know that think the 9' are intimidating and the 7' are a silly novelty. lol

    8ball 7' vs 9'

Easier to make balls yes, not necessarily easier to run out. On average you lose your turn at the table on the 9' because you missed. While on the 7' on average you lose your turn at the table because you didn't get position or don't have a good/practical shot.

    8ball 7' vs 9'

I thought you were a French billiards player honestly. So I'd assume your ball pocketing sucks. But I'll gladly play you in a game of 3c

    8ball 7' vs 9'

With the mens world 8 ball championship going on, it kind of got me thinking... Which do you think is harder, 8b on the 7' or 9'? Which do you prefer to watch? 7' or 9' Do pros on average run out more on one table vs the other? Personally I'd rather play 8ball on 7' because I like...

How do you carry your magic rack with you?

@Zerksies @The_JV I've always been a fan of both using the MR and not using it. Mostly because there are problems to solve with both options. If i'm preparing for a tournament that will be using the MR, i'll use one and see if i can learn something from it. Both racks with or without the...
