Yes i was thinking the same thing the other day, And there is a lot of functions with cell phone photo taking that you can do, most of which i havent taken the time to learn how to use.

I know my photos were horrible when i posted in the gallery the other day. couldnt seem to get my phone far enough away or at the right angle. lol.

This is just my thoughts, But i think you should share that sentiment. Not saying you should do the post, but someone could make a sticky thread as a suggested- not required guide for photos of cues. There are already guides for descriptions of sales and the like. seems to make sense.
