I remember. back then any tourney that paid 500 or more for 1st would have a bunch of out of Towners coming in to match up the night before and the day after. half of them didn't bother with the tourney.

they kept different hours. to do a 10 am round most gamblers would have to stay up all night.

I was just looking at the points and although i'm sure its not, but the points almost look like they been sharpied ala Eddie wheat. the rubber bumpers are common. I have 5-6 in a drawer right now. the but cap looks like delrin to me. I would think that might be helpful. m.c.

the old timers used to play a partners game called 1-9. it was 15 ball rotation where the person who made the one and the person who made the 9 would be partners. if you made both then it was you against 3. 61 points won .25 from losers. (was a couple years ago ;)) M.C.

I might have missed it but, nobody seemed to point out the fact that most of the woods used by cue makers come from other countries raising the price of cues made in the u.s. as well. M.C.
