i recently bought a gold crown pool table light such as this one: Would it be sacrilege to sand and paint it to match the aprons on my GC1? Curious what the consensus might be.

as far as the casual downtown spots go, wynkoop is IMHO by far the best that i have tried. equipment is in decent shape (mostly 9" GC3s) and i've never had to wait for a table (only been a couple times ymmv). tarantula has pretty run down equipment and is very rowdy. long waits for tables too...

It is recessed ~5/8” Even just sliding it back along its current line would not close the gap of interest. It feels like the ball rack simply cannot swing back any further either way

how flush is your ball rack with the metal edge fo the rail? mine appears to be ~1/4 inch too far from the frame etc so im wondering if closing that gap will create a huge overhang or not.
