    Torn between these two cues...

Now see... even that is too much for my taste. I don't need fancy, just a tad above the normal look

    Torn between these two cues...

If you mean the Revo, won't happen. Doesn't fit my play and can't stand the awful "tink" it makes. Now... if you go white... that BeCue shaft seems appealing lol

Might be urethane, not sure. Micarta is just a composite of material similar to urethane. Since it is OB though and they use white Micarta in other cues, one would assume the points in this cue are Micarta as well.

    Torn between these two cues...

I do appreciate a good looking SP or plain cue, especially in bocote or burl wood. I have a leather wrap on my current cue and after playing with a friends wrapless I knew that is what I would have on my next playing cue. Gamble here and there, strong.. eh.. subjective I guess. For my area...

    Torn between these two cues...

I want something that stands out just a bit. Too many players in my area have such simple cues and it just doesn't suit my taste. Thanks for the reply!

    Jacoby vs pechauer jump cue

Plan to buy and hold for a long time. Not very often I jump, hell im still learning it really. Ive just noticed when using a friends Pechauer that it was easier than my J/B cue. Figured both of these jump cues are probably hand in hand pretty similar.

That part of why I like it. A classy but edgy feel to it. Just makes you go "Bond, James Bond" lol

    Torn between these two cues...

You prefer the classic 4/6/8 point veneers or plain jain type?

    Torn between these two cues...

That's because there was a filter that wouldn't let me put that option.... the wife lol

    Torn between these two cues...

So im kinda torn between these two beautiful cues and can't really decide on which one I am wanting to buy. I dig the classic Cocobolo/Maple look and yet that modern looking Ebony/White is sleek as can be as well. Im leaning towards the Cocobolo/Maple because to me it is wood that will will...

    APA 8-ball Rankings

Agreed sandbagging is going to happen regardless. I also played BCA but in my area the guy who runs it does a pretty crappy job of it so I didn't shoot for long. I've just been playing APA for about 7 years now and a new league with fargo rating is appealing. Who knows, it may fall apart as well.

    APA 8-ball Rankings

It depends on the area, the league operator and some other factors. I myself am a SL7 in APA 8-ball, but a SL6 in APA 9-ball. In my opinion I shouldn't be one, especially with only being at 50% 8-ball for the session across all my teams and only having 50% lifetime wins. According to my LO...

    Jacoby vs pechauer jump cue

Kinda what I was thinking, also saw that seyberts has a jump cue (guess its their brand?) and thought of getting that one since it looks similar and its cheaper. https://www.seyberts.com/jump-cues/poolgods-jump-cue/

    Jacoby vs pechauer jump cue

I noticed as well they are of similar design. I do like that Jacoby offers a brass ferrule & different stain options. Pechauer is also about $30-50 cheaper depending on where it is bought from. Figured they would probably perform similar thus is why I just want to see what peoples opinions...

    Jacoby vs pechauer jump cue

I am looking at the Jacoby Jump Cue & Pechauer Jump Cue. Currently using a J/B cue from McDermott (the Stinger) and I would like to enhance my game by using a dedicated jump cue. Both of these seem to be pretty popular and have a good reputation. So to the audience out there: Which do you...

    Revo vs Becue

Im in the same boat as far as wondering how the BeCue shaft plays on a wood butt? Would be nice to hear that it plays just as well with a wood butt as it does with a carbon fiber butt. I think a clean Ebony wood butt with white inlays and using the white BeCue shaft would look pretty nice, but...
