Some people fill billiard's desires with just friendly competition without money involved. I am one of those people, and don't see the need or desire for gambling. I can only imagine how many fights have started over games that included gambling, and broken friendships.

The closest thing to gambling I get is a race to 5 in 8b/9b/10b, for 5 bucks. My philosophy is I don't like losing my money and I have no need to win your money.

I would never leave an expensive cue in one of those lockers. I have a nice playing cue from Cuetec at cost about $250, and also a break cue of similar value. They would be okay but I wouldn't leave anything more expensive.

Put the bulletproof soft into league play last night with very good results. No problems in any way. During practice I gave the tip an initial chalking then played 3 games without chalking again and still no miscues. I now have total confidence in this tip as a player !

Most Predator products you are just paying for the name. They have some good stuff, but it is way overpriced.

I was just downstairs using my cue that has a bulletproof blue soft tip on it. I haven't been able to notice the difference between it and a leather tip, no miscues and good action on the cue ball. I scuffed it up a while back and with playing with it for a month it is sort of smooth out again...

I have a bulletproof soft/blue, and it has never crossed my mind that the color was annoying in any way. I sort of like the different colors, and I'm an old man. Like I said, the color wasn't even a consideration to me as to whether I liked it or not.

I have many higher-ups compliment my shooting skills, and I do play very well. My biggest issue is, like most, cue ball control. I do know when I shoot my best there isn't a lot of calculating going on about ghost balls and lines drawn to pockets, just pocketing the ball that I've done so many...

As far as aiming systems go, I roll on instict for my shots. They may help some other people, but it seems like the more info I have flowing through my mind for a particular shot the more apt I am to miss it. I like a lot of the books on mental preparation that try to clear your conscious mind...
