I want a new jump cue

I received my Dominus cue stick from Finland today and it is a beauty. It is elegant and I am jumping at will with it. I like the length and the weight of this jumper, it makes jumping pretty easy. The close in Dart style jumping is still a work in progress but I am getting it. I was hesitant...

We got smoked last night, and I played like trash. That pretty much explains everything.

    Extension length preference

Question: are there limitations on the weight or length of your break cue when ading a telescoping extension to it? I thought there was a 25 oz limit? , but what about length?

    I went back today...

Good points! If you think about it, how often do wood shafts have to be replaced because of damage or too much wear? Hardly ever, if ever, imo.

    I went back today...

I occasionally hit the light fixture at the local pool hall because I stand up too soon.😳

    My Rhino experience

I just purchased a shaft from rhino for my mali cue, and the shaft was just a hair larger than the butt end. I took a file and took the edge off where they mate up and now you can hardly tell the difference in size. For $180 it is an excellent carbon fiber shaft, and I have a difficult time...

I want a new jump cue

Here is what I ended up ordering, not sure how it's all going to work out, but I love the specs and the reputation of this particular jumper made in Finland. I guess the Fins are very good jumpers so I expect this one to be as good as any, and at a lower price. I think it looks sharp as well not...

What differences are there between Mezz AirDrive2 jump cue and the newer AirDrive3?

I like Callaway golf equipment, it's what I generally buy in the driver and fw metals. I was considering upgrading my driver and metals that were about 5 years old because of the cost, and I couldn't believe how much easier the new technology was to use. Especially in the driver, it was much...

What differences are there between Mezz AirDrive2 jump cue and the newer AirDrive3?

Good post, and it's not only true for the game of pool but for every other sport out there the equipment continuously gets better with time. I think of bowling, golf, and just about every other sport has the benefit of using new technology in their equipment making the game easier to play. I...

I want a new jump cue

Very good video, and I could see it as an option. It seems like all the manufacturers are now going to a longer multi-piece jumper.

I want a new jump cue

Thanks for the post, very informative! I would like to get one or the other, but not sure which. Edging toward the Air Rush, but have plenty of Cutec equipment. I hear some say the AR is easier to jump with, but I wonder if this is so?

I want a new jump cue

I presently have a Lucasi jumper, but have never got along with the dart technique. I could jump a ball about half the time appropriately the other half I either miscued or did not clear the ball in front of me. The jump cues in my opening post are both lengthier sticks than the more common...

I want a new jump cue

Looking to upgrade my basic Lucasi jump cue to one of these below. Does anybody own either of these and have recommendations? I am not a great jumper but looking to improve, and I am thinking one of these two are pretty easy jumpers. Any advice would be appreciated, they are a bit pricey, but...

Why is Predator so easily get dents

Quality is just not Predator's main objective, imo. I feel they market their name due to products (table) being used on the pro circuit, and quality is secondary. jmo

Good practice techniques for a beginner

Yes, I definitely agree, maybe 5 takes for me, 😊. Just the same, no matter how many times it would take me per ball, it would make me and anybody else a better player to try.

Good practice techniques for a beginner

That would be a good lesson for me, but I know it would take several attempts to get through it to the end. I don't put top spin on the ball as well as I do draw, but I can do okay. I would have to agree that this would probably take intermediate to advanced skill level to complete.
