Reading through this thread makes aiming anything but simple. The conscious mind can only think so much when shooting a shot, and thinking too much about aiming systems over a ball will steal from your accuracy and game.

I would have to believe that that's what professional pool players use, visualizing the shot and letting experience take over. They probably are way past using a ghost ball system or any system that takes too much conscious thinking, which actually robs your subconscious from doing what it's...

The times I have had break and runs I am generally in a very relaxed state, and letting my past experience pocket the balls for me. Not thinking too much over a shot, a shot that I made a thousand times before, and just letting it happen. Pretty much absent of fear.

I think the best aiming system exists in the past. All the 1000 times I pocket balls is remembered in my subconscious to the point where it just happens without much thinking. When I think of systems I start to become distracted and will miss more often. I think the word 'rote' comes to mind...

I don't play a weight based on what others play or what is in style, I play what works best for me. That being said, in between 19 and 20 oz works best for me, along with 12.75 mm to 13 mm tip diameter.

Yes, that's what I thought it was. I think that is why I don't use joint protectors is that they are hard to keep track of.
