It's sort of sad that this is what we have to look forward to, but I have to admit I agree with you!

    Cue shaft size, matetial?

I put my 13mm wood shaft back in the bag for league play last night. It fit like a glove as I shot very well with it, winning 3 of 4 games in my match. I should have won all four games, but I botched an eight ball shot in the final match. I really think my hands don't fit well with thinner...

Dr Dave has a video that reflects what you are saying. As far as miscues are concerned, Master and most other chalks perform as well as Taom. Where Taom excels at is keeping your cue ball and table clean. A clean cue ball and table do have performance benefits.

    Cue shaft size, matetial?

Yes, I can see why. Although, larger hands governed by older eyes may say differently for me, lol. Good advise! Sometimes I wonder if precision starts to deteriorate as the shaft diameter gets smaller especially for somebody with larger hands. Thanks for your post I appreciate it.

    Cue shaft size, matetial?

Then this could be a possibility in the future, when I develop my stroke a bit better. Right now my stroke is a bit inconsistent, and I am thinking a 13 mm might be best for me right now? Also, flexibility has gone down somewhat in my fingers due to age, and it seems like a larger diameter shaft...

    Cue shaft size, matetial?

I get the impression that a 13mm cue is more for beginners than experienced players, is this true. (me 1.5 years) Is it known how many professionals use larger cues, 13mm?

    Cue shaft size, matetial?

I have switched back and forth between various shafts I own and have always played better with 13 mm over 12.4 mm. I don't think it's the material as much as the diameter that takes time adjusting to. I am wondering if it's time to make a commitment to 13mm, and accept that as my go-to size? I...

    Cue shaft size, matetial?

What bothered me yesterday while playing the 12.4 mm Rogue carbon fiber shaft was that I couldn't make anything consistently. It was like I had lost a skill set when I feel like I'm as good as I've ever been. It was really mind boggling. I think I have always played better with a 13 mm then...

    Cue shaft size, matetial?

I bought a playing cue ,Pechaurer, really nice wood grain and very simple. It has the standard 13 mm wood shaft included, and that's what I've been playing with for the last month or so. I really enjoy the 13 mm shaft, and also the wood aspect of it, and have a hard time using my 12.4 mm carbon...

With the wrong attitude, it sure can become these things. The wiser individuals will not let frustration and aggravation, cussing, dominate their play. I think it gets to everybody after a while, but those who are smart enough know how to avoid too much of it. ^^^ I like this comment and...

There are some good points in what you say. If you can't have fun and what you do I think it would be a waste of time. Although, I think there is an entertainment value involved in an endeavor like yours that can make it very worthwhile. Vanity, maybe, what will we think in our dying days?

lol, so we got the 1% in here claiming they don't need a break cue. No, you don't need a break you but those who respect their playing cue know bettet. I accept your decision, now it's time to move on. The 99% of us must be wrong! Fargo 285 knows the best!

If you don't know what your Fargo is, and also don't flatten your tips out very easily, I can only assume that you aren't a real serious pool player, but enjoy the game. When I go to the Hall on my league nights, almost every player has a multiple stick case. Many have cues that are well over...

    Waste of money pool items

Either you don't mind a flattened tip on your playing cue, or you don't hit the ball hard enough to make a difference. I can see somebody using a stick off the rack at your local Hall, but I notice a difference in my tips to the point I don't want to see my playing cue stick in that shape. If...

    Waste of money pool items

Some of you are suggesting you only have one cue stick in your bag, I wonder what you use for a break cue? My playing cue tip is nice and shaped the way I want it whereas my break cue has been flattened by pounding the rack. I don't want that to happen to my playing cue so that's why I like to...

    Was this a foul?

He's a real sour type of person, who if he doesn't get his way, oftentimes leaves or argues. I don't mind when he leaves, it's better without him there. Nonetheless, everybody in the world knew he was wrong but he just kept on persisting. The next time I seen him he didn't even complain about...

    Rhino carbon fiber

I like carbon fiber for my break cue as well because it slides through the bridge much easier in my opinion and is more durable, usually anyways.
