    Break/Jump Cue?

To me, the break function of this cue is less important than the jumping aspect. I often use house cues to break with when I want to go light weight to the pool hall. I can pretty much break with any halfway decent stick as well as my higher priced break stick. Jumping is a bit different, and I...

How about people just not sharking, and good sportsmanship?

Is removing your glove a shark move?

A player should always aim at being respectful towards an opponent and show class for them. Some people value winning over good sportsmanship, but the players that impressed me the most are the ones who respect their opponent, and stand or sit off to the side out of the way, and keep quiet...

Is removing your glove a shark move?

I was just going to post a similar comment, absolutely accurate assessment, it's the sudden change that gets people riled. I like watching the PBA bowling on TV, and some tournaments the crowd verbally interacts loudly like a constant drone that doesn't bother the Bowlers at all, but if it went...

    Break/Jump Cue?

I am considering selling my jump cue and getting a break/jump cue. I have a great jump cue, the link is below, and the Fins say their professionals use this very stick. I always hear that the best route to go is having individual sticks, a break cue and a jump cue. What break jumper cue jumps as...

Is removing your glove a shark move?

My point is this, and pretty much this only, certain situations, most people can be sharked by what appears to be subtle activity. When the pressure's on, and you got somebody that disrespects your turn, it just isn't fair or sportsmanlike.

Is removing your glove a shark move?

I understand what you are saying, but I believe anybody can be sharked under certain conditions. When I see accomplished players playing they are respected for their lack of sharking, and respected for their tactfulness of keeping their mouths shut and not sharking.

Is removing your glove a shark move?

Where I play, all the elite players just go and sit down at a particular chair and don't say a peep in between their own shots. They have some class, they have learned, the sharking is for players who aren't that good or have a lot of respect for the game. We have a well-known sharker in our...

First problem with a Bulletproof Recoil tip?

My experience with A bulletproof Soft synthetic tip: 1) It plays as well as a leather tip, in my opinion. Miscues are no different, neither is drawing the ball or following the ball, those tasks all work very good. 2) the synthetic tip has a ringing sound when striking the cue ball as opposed to...

Is removing your glove a shark move?

People can tell when someone is sharking, and it doesn't matter what device a sharker uses to accomplish their goal, to me, it's still sharking. Problem is, the sharker can just deny it and it's hard to call a foul on them. It's hard to get a sharking foul to stick.

FOULS IN POOL ... Everything You Need to Know

What is the rule on committing a foul? I was in a situation that was somewhat relaxed while playing pool. People leave the room for various reasons and come back and sometimes the game has been started. I have had opponents commit a foul, not tell anybody, and not know it till a couple shots...

    JB Ultimate Rugged 2x5/3x4

I messed up a cue that fell out of a unzipped up case while putting it into the back of my car. I didn't have pin protectors on the stick and the two halves landed right on the concrete damaging it. Never say never, as accidents can happen.

    JB Ultimate Rugged 2x5/3x4

I have a JB Rugged in blue, and it is a battle axe in build quality. Yes, it is a bit tight inserting the sticks, but I manage. When I have my expensive cue sticks inside, I have zero worries about their well-being . The blue is a nice color, and it is sturdy as anything looking. Although, I use...

FOULS IN POOL ... Everything You Need to Know

I think one of the most difficult things to do is when you're at another house and wanting to compete with somebody, what rules do they play by? I'm sure all the rules don't get covered beforehand, and if money is on the line, I think it could cause for some heated debates or arguments. It would...

Maybe if I had known of this sale, I might have purchased one. With that in mind, this is the one I got off of Amazon, yes a Chinese manufactured cleaner, but for as often as I use it for my home table, maybe once every couple weeks, it should do the job. https://a.co/d/gz1UtJ7
