5/16 14 silver ring shaft with small pilot as in non schon or scruggs pilot. Mine is .845 at joint.

I have a shaft made from a Prather blank . The collar is a bit undersized at .820 at the collar, it is 13 mm with an ivory ferrule and a MH Moori tip. Perfectly straight and ding free. I used it on a R Black cue and never had any issues with it being a bit under sized at the collar , I recall a...

I had a Spain EOL cue, #9 if I remember correctly. I did not regret selling it but in retrospect might have held on to it.

What is the oldest item in your case ?

This thought occurred to me the other day when I was working on a tip. The Willards shaper I was using must be around 40 years old now . The only thing older might be a pocket knife of my dads. I am sure some of you still have a cue older than that. Chuck

    new table

This is the pool table I bought for the senior center in my town.I found an 8 foot os Gandy in very nice shape. It did not appear to have been recovered too many times for an old table.Jones Bros replaced the cushions and the cloth and the install was pretty straightforward . I saw that they used...

    Refelting tables

Let us not forget all the table mechs on Cl and FB that can replace 'bumpers " on a table instead of cushions. I suppose you can call different parts whatever you like as long as you give your customer what they want. Chuck

    “Little” Al Romero Sneaky Pete

I also have a true sneakie made from a red leaf Duff house cue. The biggest challenge was getting the points close to even. The cue maker that made mine swapped out the bumper and the shaft has a harder ferrule. The joint is plain so unless you look close it appears to have come off the wall...

I was in San Angelo Tx going to the NCO Academy at the base there and when I went to the pool hall..Giz and Hums I think it was called some local players swore I was Larry Nevel and I could not get a game with anybody without me giving up some weight.
