I would think just about anybody could go into a So Cal pool room and find a money game . No need to look for it on AZB . I am surprised Jay H has not chimed in being as he knows the score out that way .

I have had Mr Black make me 3 cues over the years....the latest was an Alamo about 25 years ago . He was easy to reach on the phone and always met the delivery time he promised . The last I heard he does not really build any of his lower priced cues .

Busbee cues ,also out of Mi made a sneaky for me out of a Duff house cue . Top notch work and pretty quick ,maybe 6 weeks . Look through some of my posts , I am sure I have posted pics .
Mr Busbee has a FB page also .

Bob, I have a 2018 tribute similar to this cue , no fancy joint collar though . It is one of the best playing cues I have ever owned . You are a true master .

My buddy and I ,whom I play all the time play no push or safes . Go for everything . I do play a lot of two way shots but it is just for fun anyway . I am sure that this has messed up my safety play if I were ever to match up with someone .

I noticed when I got my Owen I liked one shaft over the other .....both are 12.8 mm with med kamui tips . Look like twins but play a bit different .

I usually play with a B Owen cue with a Lucasi 0 Flexpoint shaft but I decided to go old school and shoot with my Dufferin conversion cue . I pulled it out of it's case and noticed the tip was very flat and had a bit of a mushroom and I had no tip tools with me . I will make it work .

I have a 3 x 7 Instroke case for over 25 years now . I use it mostly for storage now but have never had any issues ,a few scuffs and some tarnish on the brass rivets . The biggest downside is the weight , fully loaded it is pretty heavy for an old guy with arthritis and a bad rotator cuff .

Saw one for sale on FB,,,Osage Beach Mo.....$1000 has a broken slate ,comes with a light . Not a bad price especially if you can find apiece of slate cheap .
