Jason shook his hand prior to Sky’s break, I’m liking that.

    Turning Stone Classic XXXVI

Sky and Billy were both having a lot of fun between rounds down in the casino yesterday. Both seem loose and were having a great time.

We spent the day there yesterday. Bought a cue case for my girl and she asked Jason Shaw to sign it for her. Thanks Jason. Lots of really good pool happening, and I was impressed with Dylan Spohr, he lost to Oi and finished in the 12-16 group. I hope he continues playing these points events.

8 Men Left Standing at Turning Stone Classic

Sky playing well but Jeremy Sossei is on fire. Their match should be a good one and may end up being repeated as the final. With Shaw and Gorst also fighting back through the B side, this is looking like a great day to watch some pool. I’m thinking that this being a points event for matchroom...

2023 AZB Ghost Challenge - Official Thread

How does the 15 ball ghost work? Is it just breaking and clearing all the balls in any order? Do you start with a fresh rack each time or is it continuous like 14-1 where you rack 14 when you're on that last ball? Do you have to make a ball on the break, is a dry break a loss? Ball in hand...

    Whyte Carbon Shafts

A couple weeks ago in a team tournament I played against a guy that had one. His was the one that looked like it had woodgrain, and I think it was a break cue. Actually, the two other guys used it for breaking too. We laughed that there was more grain than a real shaft would have, but reading...

Definitely! You needed a decent snow to do it, and it was delivery trucks that were easiest cause they couldn't see you once you were holding the bumper. We had a diaper delivery truck that we'd get almost every storm. I think that guy knew, and he'd let us have our fun, but he'd occasionally...

    RIP cue legend Bill Schick

Rest in peace Mr. Schick. I visited his place back in 2018 when I was in Shreveport for work. I had a shaft that needed a tip, and suggestions from this site led me there. After asking for him, I was led to a side room where Bill was working, but he stopped and we spent the next couple hours...

APA inks deal with Diamond tables

In the bars around my area, and in the leagues that are active, only one location has a Diamond table. It's faster, with less forgiving pockets, and the two teams that have that as their "home" location usually finish near the top each session. The rest of the locations have either Valley or...
