OB Carbon Fiber - June 3rd

There is no foam inside the carbon. It is a maple shaft with a carbon core. They say the shaft will be flexible as well. In my opinion that is a huge benefit. Personally I have never liked the look of the black carbon shafts so a wood outside is genius. I think the OB-1 carbon might be the way...

    measles ball origin

I do not care where they came from I just want them gone. You can tell the spin by the way the cue ball reacts, there is no need to have the dots. It makes it harder to focus as well, at least for me. Anyone who wants to play me with the measle ball has to spot me an extra ball.

    Trouble drawing the ball?

My advice to you would be to get a lesson from a good instructor. He can get you started on the right foot with your mechanics and can really diagnose your flaws. As far as drawing the ball goes I have a few pointers that I think will help. 1. loose grip on cue butt 2. Focus on your cue tip and...

Custom cues in the 500 or less range ?

Dale Perry cues are no good, never heard of AA cues. In that price range I would look at an entry level Schon or Joss. Cannot go wrong with either. I have also heard good things about Rat custom cues.

    OB-1 vs. OB-1 plus

I have tried out an ob-1 shaft and really liked it. I was wondering if there is a difference in hit with the ob-1 plus shaft?

    Walking cane cue sticks

I stumbled across a walking cane that converted into a pool stick on eBay. The cue looked very poor quality (screw on tip, cheap shaft wood). I was wondering if any cue makers have made any quality walking cane cue sticks? Also how much it would cost?

    Practice

From what I heard and experienced knocking balls around is not a good way to practice. For me it almost seems to do more harm than good because I get careless. I know of a few good drills like playing the 6 ball ghost or trying to achieve a straight pool run. What are other good practice...

Revo pros & cons from someone who knows how to play

I did not know that, I had seen shafts he used that had the tru glide sst marking on them. Not sure if it was an actual Cuetec shaft however.

Revo pros & cons from someone who knows how to play

Let's get real, Earl Strickland won world championships with a Cuetec. As long as the cue is straight and you like how it hits then it doesn't really matter. There is no such thing as a zero deflection cue either, every cue has deflection, just find a cue you like and get used to it.
