    Best poolroom in Austin?

Joe Rogan must be the biggest whale in all of pool, players in Texas must be salivating waiting to play him.

    Price for Joss cue

250 is around market value, if you can talk him down to 200 then it would be a good buy. The shaft diameter is 12.5mm for that cue, just an fyi. Joss cues are high quality and last a long time if you take care of them

    Best affordable break cue

I have been looking for a cheap break cue that is decent quality, some of the prices seem high for just a basic break cue. Is there a big difference in a break cue besides the tip? Thinking of just buying a sneaky pete and putting a Samsara tip on, any thoughts?

    Best Affordable Cuemakers today?

There used to be makers that would give you a quality cue in that price range. Michael Sima, Paul Dayton, and Carolina Custom for example.

    Looking to upgrade/change maple cues

https://www.muellers.com/Hustler-Professional-Bar-Cue---20-720,703.html?b=d*249 The link is a great sneaky pete cue with a solid hit and an excellent value. You might also want to look at Schmelke cues, you can customize the cues to your exact specifications and they are also an excellent value.

    Slip Stroke

I'm not sure if there is a real purpose. Cornbread red said he developed it naturally when he started playing his best pool. Some say it helps them get a better feel for the shot and allows them to get more draw or follow. I am not sure why that would be the case. None of the top pro players in...

New pool movie coming out called Walkaway Joe, feat Jeffrey Dean Morgan

I thought of an even better idea. A movie on the life of both Earl and Efren showing the events leading them to the color of money match.

New pool movie coming out called Walkaway Joe, feat Jeffrey Dean Morgan

Doesn't look very good from the trailer, hopefully I'm wrong. I thought they should do a movie on the life of Earl Strickland. He has a lot of great stories and certainly is the biggest personality in pool. I guess they should wait until the final chapter is written before they make the movie.

    Slip Stroke

He does it during his final stroke as well. Like Sea Brisket said it is not very obvious, Cisero Murphy or Jimmy Moore would be good players to look up if you wanna see it in action.

    Slip Stroke

Yes, pretty much, during your practice strokes you back hand is forward then during your final stroke it slips back into position. Josh definitely does it, it may not be very exaggerated which is why you are having trouble seeing it. It has become somewhat of a lost art for some reason, I know...

    Slip Stroke

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAYDqD25GgU&list=PLdCfnbGD70QWs6PQe7cNZlTrD0qDi8SeD&index=9 Saw this match today and noticed a pro named Josh Roberts has a slip stroke. I haven't seen a pro with that kind of stroke in a long time and was wondering if any other current pros have it?
