    #1 Myth in Pool

Billiard glasses are not cheap, but they help a great deal. You don't see the distracting tops of the eyeglass frames like you do with normal glasses. Curran is running a $100.00 off sale for the remainder of January. https://www.billiardglasses.com/

    Diamond Pro-Am question .

I don't see how they could be. I tried different stances to try to get them in the way and couldn't.

when did tables go from 10 to 9 ft.? what were the circumstances?

I see 8-foot tables described as "Tournament Tables." Why call them that when they are not used in tournaments?

when did tables go from 10 to 9 ft.? what were the circumstances?

What size tables were in all those post "The Hustler" pool rooms that Brunswick set up in the 1960s? Eight or nine feet?

    What Recourse Do I have?

What basements? If he's in Southern Nevada, he probably doesn't have a basement as 99% don't. Caliche soil here and it's harder than concrete. A basement would probably have to be blasted out. Almost all houses here are on a concrete slab. I hope you get your cues.

    Irving Crane

Crane rarely left the cue ball very near a rail. Brilliant position play always.

Olhausen Out - Diamond Pro-Am In

If I did that some people may think my table was made in China. ;)

Olhausen Out - Diamond Pro-Am In

As it concerns women, some men look to pretty and some look to the well-built. In this case Ms. Pro-Am was more than pretty enough and she was much better built than Ms. Olhausen. It was an easy choice for me.

Those measurements may be Olhausen measurements. Scroll to near bottom of the page for Pro-Am measurements. Dimensions for all size Pro-Am tables are listed...

Olhausen Out - Diamond Pro-Am In

There is nobody near this table that could be disturbed by the noise the ball return may make. That said, the Pro-Am ball return is about as quiet as I've ever heard. And Glen's tip about using six carwash sponges, makes any ball return table a drop pocket table if needed. I did like the...

Olhausen Out - Diamond Pro-Am In

I missed the fun at TET. I was very fortunate to be on a Med Cruise with 6th Marines before deployment to RVN.

Olhausen Out - Diamond Pro-Am In

Both those Olhausen and the Pro-Am tables are 8' tables. The Pro-Am 8' table has a larger playing area than the Olhausen (45"x90" vs 44"x88"). The Pro-Am also has a bigger footprint (59"x104" vs 53.5x97.5). Both are great tables.

Olhausen Out - Diamond Pro-Am In

Maybe some of it is in my mind but it seems to play better than the Olhausen. Even with the pocket fix the Olhausen still had some rattle on well hit shots down the rails at speed. The Pro-Am's Pro-Cut pockets seem more accepting/forgiving than the Olhausen. I did gain 1/8" on the pockets. The...

Olhausen Out - Diamond Pro-Am In

maha: "olhausen looked better for the layout of the house." I agree it did look better, but my pre-teen grandchildren would have destroyed the rails as they are beautiful but delicate. The PRC rails on the Pro-Am will take a beating. And I think the black filled routings for the Diamond logo...
