I'm watching some old matches with what I think are Pro-Ams and they look like drop pockets. What am I seeing?

I'm liking this game after playing it today. I'll like it better tomorrow after just learning that it is BIH after the break. I frequently left the cue call in poor position after the break when I was playing earlier. That cannot happen again tomorrow with BIH.

What size pockets would be on that table?

I thought I might experience this when I bought my Pro-Am last year, but it has never left a mark on the balls. Not even on power shots.

There was a thread here about the threshold now being $600.00 instead of 20K. Don't know much about it.

DJKeys - You beat me to it. The Pro-Am is a wee bit of an "oversized" 8' at 45"x90" vs. the usual 44"x88"

I've had two tables installed in my life and both times the mechanic returned a couple of weeks later to relevel the now "settled" table. Never was charged for the return visit.

What is the wait time for a new Pro-Am now? Also, has the price increased?

Allows them to hit the object ball where it needs to be hit. They are able to make shots that way and stops them from losing interest in the game. We will move from this to Dr. Dave's drills (complete novice level).

In the Shaw interview I think Shaw was holding back on how he really felt about the Predator tables. To purposely forfeit like he did supports very negative feelings about the table conditions. He was trying to be as polite as possible considering the circumstances.

My two granddaughters, ages 9 & 10, were not at all interested in my pool table. But yesterday I introduced them to some new things I thought might interest them in the game and it looks to be working. They spent hours playing yesterday and want to come over after school today to play again...
