Uniloc 12.4 My 12.4 is a uniloc

I got my 12.4 on Saturday and played with it for several hours yesterday. First thing I noticed is it had a different sound and feel then the 12.9 I own. Even tho they both have the Kamui super soft clear on them. The 12.4 had a stiffer hit and a crisp hit to it. And I feel has less...

I had Doug Patrick tap a uniloc balance rite extension with a 5/16 14 tap. And so it can handle both butt joint types now. The uniloc still. And the 5/1614 joint.

I've got the 12.4 uniloc coming tomorrow. And I will post on how it feels and hits. I have the 12.9 revo p3 I bought used on this forum several months back. And since I use a 314/2 that has a 12.22 mm diameter. I just couldn't get used to the 12.9.

I know joe Salazar does. Not sure if he is there tho.

Looks like the ferrule is longer then 314/2 normal. And looks like different material. Has the ferrule been replaced? Thanks

Maybe frost can host d.o. And Alex match at his new pool room this year. That would really jump start his room when he opens.

Yes a uniloc can be tapped to fit a 5/16 14 pin. I had a cue maker do it to a four inch uniloc middle extension so I could play my 5/16 14 butt with the new revo shaft.

Doug patrick I have like 4 of doug Patrick's cues. With different joints, materials, lengths. Etc. And they all hit/feel/look amazing. His shop is out of shooters pool hall in Olathe. Very reasonable prices. And the customer service dont get any better either.

I didn't take it he was playing them in 1980. That's just when he moved to Florida. Is how I read it.
