Replacing those things is complicated. I believe the best way to replace them is to get longer rivets that go through to the inside and under the felt. I'm thinking as long as the rivets are relatively flat, the felt will protect from the rivets.

Growing up in the 80s and watching all the greats from that era, I'll always have a soft spot for those players. Going back and watching a lot of those matches now though, they look human compared to today's best players.

Depends on the seller and their selling history / feedback. If it's a reputable seller that I have not done business with before, seems like 4 or 5 days to ship is reasonable to wait before reaching out for an update. If it's a new seller that I don't know, I'd be getting nervous after 2 or 3...

I crossed over to longer cues a few years ago. It absolutely improved my shot making.

Normally I like original cues, but this one would refinish beautifully. I'd refinish it, put a green / white linen wrap on it and match it with a modern shaft. She'd probably play as well as any cue and look better than most.
