Last night a friend said that gambling on pool in the usa "hurts" the sport. I understand why this is often claimed, but is it true? Does gambling "hurt" poker? Or Blackjack? Does gambling "hurt" football? I love to play One Pocket for $10 or $20 a game. Maybe some golf on the snooker table...

I know this doesn't make sense. I don't know why, but the billiard players loved to put the rubber sleeve over their cues. It rolls down the cue to the bottom of the handle then you unroll it back up. I found it really does give you more action playing 3 cushion for certain (up and through)...

Why not a One Pocket discussion section? I see a section for straight pool and billiards. We could post shots and discuss strategy specific to one pocket. Discuss one pocket players and matches ect. How do we get a one pocket section added to AZ Billiards? I know they have a onepocket.org site...

I have used Master Chalk for 25 years. Love it, but I noticed it can "dry-out" (just like I'm sure any Chalk can)... does anyone know the proper humidity level to store Chalk? I think a small humidor could make a big difference. It gets so dry in the winter ect...I tried to contact Master at...
