    Straight Pool Question

I think he actually used a template rack system that was permanently affixed to the table, perma-rack or something very similar, not a removable template like the magic rack. I use perma-rack for straight pool (and everything else obviously), and it makes a huge difference when compared to an...

    Straight Pool Rules Question

We usually just intentionally foul by dropping the tip straight down on the CB, but: I'm definitely doing this the next time my buddy scratches, just for fun. Feels like this should definitely be an unsportsmanlike foul, as funny as it is. I know it's an unpopular stance, but the ultimate...

    Straight Pool Rules Question

Ok. Then what is the minimum effort needed for it to NOT be an unsportsmanlike foul? Forward motion and 1/16" cueball movement? 2" movement? That's the question being asked here.

    Next Level Pool- LITERALLY

This. If your chalk is more than 1/2" tall when it retires, you're doing it wrong. Basically the equivalent of this:

    The best pool balls

Best best? Probably the Aramith duramith sets. I say probably because the Dynaspheres are super high quality as well, and I personally think they are as good as the Aramiths, but consensus says the duramiths are better. Bang for your buck? Definitely Dynasphere. Their cheapest sets play as...

    Perma-Rack Setup and Initial Impressions

I do this with a thin sharpie. Makes it easy to replace donuts as needed. My table is a tool, marking it up doesn't bother me.

    Taom Chalk

I do similar. I glue a steel washer to the bottom of the chalk, and keep a couple strong neodymium magnets in my pocket. I might change this though, as the magnets are too strong and my clothes are prematurely wearing out where my chalk clips.

Heard of Milk Duds? Get ready for Uber Duds!

Just personal use. They are such a chore to make, I'd have to charge $50 a pop to be worth the hassle.

Heard of Milk Duds? Get ready for Uber Duds!

To make my milk duds I soak them in a mixture of water and yellow carpenters glue for about a week before I press them. Then I press them to a specific foot pound, retorquing occasionally over 2 days. Makes for very consistent tips.

No glove. corn starch , baby powder or something else?

Powder bad. If you're averse to a glove, you could try spritzing your hands with isopropyl alcohol and drying with a towel. Should help to slick things up a bit.

Do sticker template racks hold up to a vacuum?

I have the perma-rack that uses the cheap Avery brand hole-punch reinforcement things. It holds up to the vacuum just fine, but they eventually start to lift. I replace them 2 or 3 times a year.
