Any tip recommendations for Predator Air II jump cue?

Agreed! I've had this the same jump cue for years now, and you just need to scuff it with some 100-120grit sand paper.

    Lowest deflection kielwood

Fixing dings is definitely on the list of things I don't like to do, and it's pretty sad that people don't treat others equipment with respect! I'm glad you found the shafts of your dream, that's no easy feat. Finding heavy weight kielwood can be a challenge!

    Lowest deflection kielwood

Jumping with only a shaft is easier because your acceleration is greater due to less mass. "That's why we used to do it" many years ago with high detection shafts 😉 It's certainly not a difficult concept to understand but I know you cannot accept it because you refuse to be wrong, so you will...

    Lowest deflection kielwood

I'm not deflecting, I'm simply responding the way you do. Deflection pushes the cue out way of your natural aim point, right? So a shaft with more endmass will push the cue out of way easier, with less shaft speed, than an LD shaft. With an LD shaft, you need to hit a bit harder, usually...

    Lowest deflection kielwood

I was constantly steaming out dings in my wood shafts, I hated that part. I've tried wood hardening products, but no luck, it all still dings. CF doesn't feel as nice as wood to me, but no issues with dings!

Please explain what deflection is first, then you may find your answer.

    Lowest deflection kielwood

I have never noticed a difference adding a 0.020" tip pad. Not enough to notice a difference in my aim point anyways.

    Lowest deflection kielwood

KW feels likes an exact midpoint between regular maple and CF. I played with one for a year or so before eventually switching to CF, purely for the ding resistance. I've had my cue knocked over too many times and dings annoy the hell out of me!

Between squirt and deflection, it's much easier to swerve around balls with a non-LD shaft. Same goes for masse shots. Of course you can do both with LD, but less effort is required for high deflection, the cue does all the work natually.

Wood porn on a Monday??? Hey Joey

Yes. There are different levels of "roast" if you will, but that's what it looks like prior to turning round. In my opinion, the medium roast, such as what's shown above, have the most chatoyance after finishing. The figure shimmers nicely with minimal effort. Compare this against regular...

    high deflection cf shaft

Chances are, since it is a cheap CF shaft as you mentioned, it likely has a long heavy material plug for the ferrule. You just can't see it all since it's internal to the shaft. You also don't know what the shaft is filled with, could be a very dense foam that goes right up to the ferrule.

    Spin-to-Speed or Revolutions-per-Foot?

Of course the math and physics can be applied, but how useful is this in a real world situation? Simply, it's not. Between the acceleration of your arm, tip offset variances, tip/chalk friction coefficient, and all the human error, you can only approximate but never accurately define these...

    Spin-to-Speed or Revolutions-per-Foot?

Yep, sounds about right. This info would have no practical use in a game because there are too many variables to maintain consistency.

    Wrapless pool cues

Can't stand irish linen, leather is okay once it gets a little dirty, wrapless is definitely my preference!

Must really be trying to get his name out there, first big post on reddit and now this. Good for him! Seems like a nice guy 👍

    Rounceville blanks................

Some don't want to make the jigs necessary to build full splices. It takes quite a bit of effort to perfect everything and you end up more waste versus a pointed forearm with an a-joint. IMO you're not just selling someone else's cue, because there's still a significant amount of work that...

    Rounceville blanks................

These have been available on there for a few years now and they regularly add more. I've purchased a few and while they're not cheap, they sure are pretty! I have to assume that Bell Forest saves the nicely figured woods for him to make these blanks with...(I wish they'd save some for me 😂😅).

Building a cue for prosthetic hand

Why not put one of those cheap silicon sleeves over the wrap and just replace it as necessary? Edit: Another option would be to put a fixed/adjustable clamp on the cue and hook the prosthetic hand to it. That would mitigate any wear issues.

    Tony/Skyler trivia question

When known local high level players continue to lose fargo enabled tournaments to low players, you tend to hear it often. This is what happens when you want to play in 6XX and under big money events. I'm just a random stranger on the internet, so please don't take my word for it 🫠
