You are the man Zeeder! Think you should change the avatar to a picture of Mother Theresa. Maybe Joe will pony up that Szamboti tribute Skip!

Would you really Zeeder! You are a Scout! Last time you posted the pics of my other Skip cue I borrowed a camera from someone in my office. Maybe I'll see if I can scrounge one up. Think I have a couple that Skip sent me prior to the cue being finished. Kind of miss your last avatar man!

    Bill Mcdaniel

Personally, I've never heard any bad things about Bill's cues or Bill for that matter. Everyone I've every talked to said his cues hit great, and, every one I've ever seen was first rate as far as workmanship is concerned. Not really sure why his stuff is not more popular.

The worst hitting cue you've ever shot with...

That's funny! I had a Southwest also that I thought didn't play very well, couldn't every move the ball like I wanted to.

Again, the old fart will chime in and state again that Skip really gives you more bang for the buck than any other cuemaker out there today (IMHO). I just received another Skip about six weeks ago and just love it. Traditional cue obviously, four point, cocobolo into curly maple, four veneers...

Another vote for Skip Weston. He will make you a killer cue for $1300! His cues hit great and he makes the best points in the business IMHO.

Hey Joe! What did the Fish's cue look like? I've never seen any of Skip's stuff that could be considered "mutant"!

    Illegal Materials for Cues?

Gerry, I agree wholeheartedly. Although many pool players and cuemakers swear by Ivory ferrules and joints, I think that many of the manmade materials do just as good a job in those applications. Additionally, the manmade materials do not present many of the same problems as Ivory, i.e...

    Opinions wanted on veneer colors

Koop, the cue I just got from Skip last month came out great. Four point cocobolo into curly maple with maple, cocobolo, maple, cocobolo veneers. Skip used an awesome grained piece of cocobolo for the butt sleeve and the points. White faux ivory joint, 3/8 x 10 pin, short white faux ivory...
