Anyone have any info on Hagan Cues

If I remember correctly Bill Hagan built some cues when he lived outside of Dayton OH, then kind of dropped out of sight. His cues were very well made and were supposed to play very well also. He used a lot of buckhorn in his joints and ferrules. His cues were not what you would call fancy.

    Custom Case?

Custom Case I would add Ron Thomas to your list. I've had a couple in the past and his cases are as good as anyones, especially if you like the old school Fellini style. Ron is also a great guy to deal with.

    Schon vs Custom cues

Concur. I've seen some great players playing with some pretty fancy custom cues. I think that Schon's are excellent cues, but, I prefer custom cues by cuemakers that do the kind of work that I like. I have two custom cues by Skip Weston, neither of which are very fancy or expensive, but, I...

Hi Jack! I played at the Golden Eight Ball a couple of times a number of years ago when I was TDY to Williams AFB. I had the pleasure of meeting and spending some time with Pete Glenn in Colorado Springs last year. He still plays a pretty tough game of one-pocket and has a hell of a...

    Best Pool Hall Fight!

Yeah man, I guess that is a true statement. I was usually in the back area away from Bandido land, unless I was getting a beer at the bar. Still miss that place, talk about a classic "Old School" pool hall! You were taking your life in your hands sometimes going into that mens room!

    Best Pool Hall Fight!

Hey John! I've played at the Jointed Cue a few times. I used to go there when I was in the Air Force and went TDY to Mather AFB when it was open. I remember that Tom Coker used to run the bowling alley at Mather AFB.
