    Jump Break Cue

I played a guy on Sunday who let me use his Jerico Stinger J/B, and it broke the balls just awesome. Didn't try to jump with it but he said it worked great.

    Players at the DCC

I spoke with Scott Smith Monday and he was leaving for DCC on Wednesday. Not sure that he would even have time to attempt developing a list like that with the number of players that will be there.

    Pawn shop finds

A friend of mine recently found a '70s Josswest, four point, with a ton of abalone inlays, very nice shape in a pawn shop. He got it for $300!

    omega cues

I believe the "current" Omega cues are made offshore, Taiwan maybe. Omega/DPK was a company owned by Ed Boado outside Chicago, Palatine IL if I remember correctly. Think Mike Bender worked there along with David Kersenbrock. Their cues were very solid, extremely well made and played...

    Action In Austin Texas

Yeah I'll bet! Used to know David and Gilbert Martinez when I lived in San Antonio, either one will send you to the ATM pretty quick. Think Gilbert moved to Las Vegas though.

    "it's George" or not

Believe the "v" stands for vinyl, if the case has a woven shoulder strap with "It's George" woven in it, it is one of their vinyl cases.

    Tsa

Now that TSA is apprently allowing small scissors and screwdrivers and stuff to be carried on board aircraft, why don't we start lobbying for them to drop the restriction on carrying on pool cues? I could always kind of understand most of the restrictions, but, pool cues seemed to be overkill...

    What tip do you use

I used to like LePro's also. I worked for a billiard retailer part time in San Antonio when I lived there. We found that the LePro's that we bought in the 25 piece boxes picked up a lot of moisture during storage/shipping. The ones in the 500 piece plastic bags were sealed up better and cut...

What Do You Hate To See In A Cue?

I guess that would be a true statement. It reminds me of a time when one of my early military supervisors did a "Cool Hand Luke" and told me "What we have here is a problem with authority". Then he called the cops on me! Guess he was right.

What Do You Hate To See In A Cue?

I'm not giving you shit, just sharing my opinion, that's something you fought for on 3 continents for. You did it for me and I'd like to personally thank you for. Also I'd like to say that although I disagree with many of the things you said I am glad you shared them with us. I'm glad you care...

    04 Skip Weston

OK, I really hate to do it but I need some cash so I'm selling my 04 Skip cue. No, Jimbo didn't shame me into it! Four point ebony into birdseye maple, maple, perobarosa, purple heart and ebony veneers, ebony butt sleeve with Hoppe ring with rings on either side, 5/16 x 14 stainless joint...
