    Stephen Hendry's Cue Tips

As far as I've seen, Ronnie changes frequently between Triangle and Master, though it seems he sticks with Triangle the most. I haven't seen him use Taom, though. Judd seems to have switched to Taom in recent months. I saw him use it during the Masters.

Chalk Debris…….Pool Players Should Use Taom Chalk or Equivalent.

He tends to flip-flop between Triangle and Master.

Awesome pool - snooker - 3c video thread

Here's Ronnie's deep screw, played left-handed, to get position for the black to keep his 147 break going during the final of the Welsh Open in 2014 against Ding Junhui. Absolute beauty of a shot.

Awesome pool - snooker - 3c video thread

Massive respect for Kyren both as a player and as a person. Just keeps going on the up and up. Hope to see him do well in the World Championship.

I hope they have plans for an English pool template rack for the 2" balls in the pipeline.

    Hand-spliced cues...

The only rounded splices I've seen on American pool cues are decorative, and are what the Americans refer to as "butterfly" splices. This has different meaning when referring to snooker and English pool cues, though, such is what's seen on Kevin Deroo's cues. It would be an interesting concept...

    Allison's Pool Glasses?

Dennis Taylor seems to have popularised them, as he's well-known for his glasses. SnookerSpex is probably the company making Allison's.

IS “Feathers “ in snooker the same as “warm up” strokes in pool?

I've also heard feather being used for a fine cut on an object ball, but the term may be more popular with regards to practice strokes in areas where snooker is more popular. I'm not sure. It's not just limited to England, though. I've heard Scottish pool commentators use the term. I know...

IS “Feathers “ in snooker the same as “warm up” strokes in pool?

I refer to the "practice strokes" when down on a shot as "feathers". Though I've only ever heard it used in snooker and English pool.

    Waste of money pool items

Those 3-in-1 bowtie tip tools. I'd use a dedicated tip shaper and a separate aerator over one of those things any day of the week.

    weird chalk drop foul (snooker)

I have a chalk pouch for my green Master chalk for my break cue, but I keep my Taom in my back pocket. Haven't had any issues with dropping my Taom and rolling off from me.

    Pool-Snooker poll..........

English pool, hands down. I rarely play snooker, but it's great fun when I get the chance to.

    Parris cues........................

Phenomenal. Cue looks and plays amazingly. Very nicely balanced and quite stiff. Mike Wooldridge also comes to mind. I was going to order from him before going with Jason, but he wasn't open for orders at the time.

    Parris cues........................

I've heard the quality of Ultimates has taken a dip in recent years from what I've seen on TSF. Still, great to see a master cue maker on Stephen's channel. They're holy grail cues for a lot of people, though. I already own one of my grail cues, but I might consider Parris if I ever need a new one.

    Anybody see this insanity?

Took place in Braintree in Essex, England. The prize money of £180,000 was absolutely real - the match must have had some backers.

    Woods Cues???

I have two snooker cues from them. Not exactly the best cues ever, but they'll certainly do the job, and you can't beat a cue, a case and two extensions for about €100 with shipping.

    Best belt type chalk holder

I also use a chalk pouch. I've never liked the appeal of the other types.
