David worked with Jerry early on at SW then went out on his own and to also work with a couple other makers, then helped start omega DPK and Mike Bender was there with him. It is very possible that a early SW was made by David at least partly if not the whole cue.

For sure I would contact laurie at southwest cues on this. I picked up one of their first cues at a yard sale. Can be big money depending on condition and whether it has shafts. Good advise not to entertain offers here until confirmed by laurie.

Mcd does the best job with archives. Never had a problem finding a cue they made.

I'm thinking about just cutting it down to the points and making a jump cue, the shaft can be salvaged I think.

Points do go into the handle but the inner points are part of the handle so not sure about full splice. Well used.
