tbf, as we say where I was born, Ameer Ali is probably very good at pool partly because he was very good at snooker. The fact that he might be the best pool player on the planet shouldn't be confused with how difficult it is for snooker players to become good at pool.

These players are so good partly because they are so measured/level headed and therefore consistent at an incredibly high level - yet Luca, Ronnie, Judd and and even Shaun Murphy are playing above and beyond because they are telling each other so. Amazing snooker this year.
