    (Un)Popular Opinion on Fargo Rate

    (Un)Popular Opinion on Fargo Rate

I will use myself as an example. About 5 months ago I discovered something in my preshot routine. I changed it and since then I've been playing about 70 points higher than I was playing before. And my fargo has been climinig up to the right. About 25 points in the last 175 games.

    (Un)Popular Opinion on Fargo Rate

As it happened people around the room, and someone on the mic were commenting about how there were 2 "low" skill level players in the final. It was a rare occation. I play in that tournament every year and I know many of the players. One tournament doesn't define a handicap. And if you run that event bracket twice no way that guys wins again. Stuff happens

Yapp’s Controversial Tournament-Winning Shot in the 8-Ball World Championship … Was it a Foul?

If it was a bad hit why is the cue ball spinning to the right? I would expect cue induced cue ball spin if he hit the solid first.

Fargo Rate uses only the win/loss of indivdual games. It knows nothing, and cares nothing about what handicap is used.

How Often Can You Run This?

perfect in this example is the angle necessary to play low outside to get from the 5 to the 6. Maybe 30 +/- 5. otherwise you want to shoot something else or position is difficult.

How Often Can You Run This?

Fairly easy? I don't think so. You are going to miss position and have to play something else. That was/is my point.

How Often Can You Run This?

I know how to play. And I can run out. The whole discussion was specifically about going from the 5 to the 6. And it is unlikely that anyone is going to get the perfect shape every time to play the 5 with low outside to get on the 6.
