Yea. I've been playing the 6 pointed star for many years. More recently I took Neils shots and BK's shots and turned them into individual drills that I shoot. It definitely helps.

Your break sux. You should be making the 1 ball a significant amount of times. Also your cb shouldn't be on the rail. And I believe all this has been said before. Not sure why you keep posting about this.

I haven't seen a rule prohibiting that. In my experience players either agree to it or get a ref.

Most rule sets say the shooter can remove the template. When there are 2 balls on the rack then it may not be removed depending on a referee or rule set.
