I agree Todd is a great guy and gives back as much as possible...I love Airway but unfortunately I rarely go in there as they have just let the equipment go to hell and never put a penny back into keeping the place nice.

I agree with you 100%! However I blame this situation on Greg Sullivan as he has stated many times "I wanted to create an event where your a sucker if you don't play" I am not bashing him at all but seeing as the bank entry numbers grow every year the scales were bound to tip. JMO.

Ive never seen it enforced which I think sucks cause it does nothing for pools image when you se people in sweat pants and ratty t shirts playing in an event of the DCC's magnitude.

Personally I wish they would add a simple dress code like dress pants/jeans and a shirt with a collar or something basic like that to end all the sweat pants, ratty t-shirts, and hats.

Looks like they have chosen to change it back so there must have been an outcry lol

Unfortunately...IMO The DCC is becoming one the "too many chiefs not enough Indians" situations where all kinds of people give Greg and the promoters their "input" which results in the constant yearly rule changes that are hard to keep up with when in reality a lot of things that are being...

Airway Billiards in Dayton OH has a couple tourneys before the event and the winner gets their DCC entry fee paid into the event if they want and can attend. Not sure if you consider that a qualifier or what to call it but they have done it for years now.

I couldn't agree more with you! No wonder pool is in such a horrible state over all. It still baffles me they let Danny in the booth and I know many will bash me but his time has been up for years as far as announcing. He just keeps getting worse!

Anyone know if he still plays with the SW cue he played with forever? That was pretty cue (and I'm not a huge SW fan). He was one of the few that always seemed to have the cue and that was rare then and even more rare these days!
