Predator WPA World Teams Championship (10 Ball), 8-12 Nov, Puerto Rico, Winning Team $120K

They have to manage the coaching within the alloted time so I don't see a problem if it helps a player. It kinda help equalize the match. I think Shane did a really good job.

    Predator WPA World 10 Ball Women’s Championship 2023 (18-22 Oct 2023), Austria, Winner $50K

Anybody knows what's going on with the Kelly Fisher and Allison Fisher matches? Both matches are showing 0-0 scores on the website. They had scores for a while then they were zeroed out.

Predator WPA World 8 Ball Championship 2023 (17-22 Oct 2023), Austria, Winner $75K

Who knows, SVB, Gorst, Filler and others who have had rigorous schedules over the past month might be welcoming a "slower schedule."

I see Mark White in the audience, but I haven't heard him commentating. He is my favorite non-pro high-energy commentator. Hope he comes on soon.

SJM – My Thoughts on WPA’s Actions

What you have stated here makes sense to the general public, but there might be more to it than we know. Someone mentioned in another thread that the best Vietnamese player, Duong Quoc Hoang, was prevented by the country's federation from playing in the Hanoi Open. To me this is a shame...

    Jayson Shaw on Team USA!

During the streaming of the final match at Jayson's pool hall, Darren Appleton said that since Fedor already played for Europe he will never play for the USA. I can't remember Jayson saying anything other than nodding his agreement with Darren's statement. I would be extremely surprised if...

Most embarrassing commentary I have ever heard. I turned the volume off to watch the matches.

SJM – My Thoughts on WPA’s Actions

Understood, it not the best way of ranking top players. However, it's a good measure for accessing a strong match. E.g, 840 vs 740 is not a strong match.

SJM – My Thoughts on WPA’s Actions

I don't believe Fargo moves much since it's based on a multi-year (5 years?) history. I would really like to see a list of the 800 plus Fargo that he has beaten vs lost to this year. Wish if there was a quick way to pull up this data.

SJM – My Thoughts on WPA’s Actions

I was going to raise this ranking issue, but looked at the current rankings of Matchroom and the WPA and decided not to bother. I totally agree that at the time Matchroom approached the WPA to adopt it's (Matchroom) ranking the WPA rankings were unrealistic and MP made more sense. Now...

SJM – My Thoughts on WPA’s Actions

I have been trying to avoid social media because it has been taking up too much of my time, but I would like to offer an opinion here, which might have errors, so I apologize in advance and welcome any corrections. As I see it, and as SJM correctly pointed out, this is a turf war and the...

US Open 9-Ball, 2023, Atlantic City, Sep 25-30

From what I heard the pros said, with the new break rule from Matchroom the 1 might be automatic with the cut break, but the rest of the rack is unpredictable. This might be the best break option. Pros figure out whatever you throw at them.

US Open 9-Ball, 2023, Atlantic City, Sep 25-30

Actually, slow motion DOES NOT show ball movement for a close hit. In another match, the same referee called a similar close hit and the replay in slow motion couldn't detect any movement. He then asked for replay in real-time and the movement was clear. The commentators confirmed that you...
