US Open 9-Ball, 2023, Atlantic City, Sep 25-30

Thank God there is one in a billion that saw the 8 move on the replay 😀 😄

Yes, it looks like Gorst handed him back a game. Maybe that's why Gorst took a break also. I like the ref, but I think 3 camera angles showed the 8 did not move. They should have recheck the video on such a close/bad call.

    CueLee's Connecticut 9-Ball Open @ US1 Billiards, Sep 22+23

Really like the split screen streaming for most shots. The overhead gives an instant replay of the shot (with the time lag) and you are able to see cue ball movement.

    Mika V De Luna Controversy....

I saw a match where you had to call the 9 ball pocket and Efren forgot to call the pocket and lost that game. In another game of the same match he was going to pocket another 9 without calling the pocket and the crowd yelled out to remind him. Of course, Efren was grateful and was smiling ear...

    Mika V De Luna Controversy....

I believe it was the first game where De Luna miscued and stood at his chair looking at his tip. He was directly in Mika's line-of-sight so Mika rightfully asked him to sit down which he did. Other than that I didn't see any sharking. In fact, later in the match around 5,5 De Luna played a...

    Mika V De Luna Controversy....

This thread has some of the dumbest arguments I have seen and reason I don't waste too much time on social media. De Lunas past has nothing to do with what transpired today. No need for Mika to shout at him. And for those who say the combination was obvious so need to call I would say stick...

    Las Vegas Open 10-ball

Found it odd that Chang was blasting the rack in the last set and the balls were not moving. I don't like referees using a mechanical rack and players not being able to check the rack.

2023 World Pool Championship, Kielce, Poland

It was all about the break. Hoang did not do well and Wu did excellent on the break with couple of luck on the lowest ball being available. Hoang also made couple mistakes but the match was never close.

Wu has the break down! 1 in the side and shot on the 2 every time. Hoang only had the break in the first rack so far at 4-0 :D

Shot clock on all tables at this point. Not visible on the streams for Tables 2 and 3.

2023 World Pool Championship, Kielce, Poland

Yes, he impressed me with his mental attitude/game. I didn't get to see him against SVB, but given that he won a hill-hill match it looks like he is a machine. Albin is also a machine, but he falters if things are not going his way and self implodes. I would love to see a championship with...

Agree that Matchroom is doing great having 3 tables available for viewing up to this stage.

Looks like a free ride for Albin against Soufi.

Thanks for the commentary here Jay. I don't have DANZ. Looks like Hoang can handle the pressure. Great matches going on all over. Should be a really good championship!

Was a really good match, but there could only be one winner.

Yes, I would like to see how he plays under pressure. He seemed to be invincible in his last match.

Just witnessed a master class by Duong Quoc Hoang. Won't be surprised if he wins it all!

If he sticks with it I believe he will be better off in the long run. It takes time to re-tune the muscle memory and given his depth of muscle memory it might take him a bit longer than a newbie switching. You could see he was doubting himself on some of the shots he missed today, which is...
