When I see SVB make numerous micro adjustments to his tip placement before he pulls the trigger it tells me how critical he (and all the top pros) consider the tip contact point. I just don't have the ability to hit the cueball with that type of precision while looking at the OB. JMO

The scratch that he lost on was unbelievable and not a reflection on how he played. Having and intense focus and desire to win (eye of the tiger) does not mean that you win every match.

Yes very true. I wish I could list all the changes that have be made to the rules of 9ball over the last 20 years. All made in the interest in making the game harder for the top pros. If anyone can do the research and compile this list it is you Garzar. ;)

I'm sure all that is true. I just think the pros need a tougher challenge than 9 ball. I personally don't like sports where the pros play different rules than the fans. So all I am saying is that if 9ball as played for the last 40 years is too easy than play 10 ball or full rotation.

But now the head ball goes in every time. Seems like the top pros need a more challenging test.

Why? Seems to me like you are really saying that the game of 9 ball is a joke with that comment. That's one reason I would love to see full rack rotation played for the major championships.
