Can't really compare the two, because never owned a SK. But I know a Mike Capone cue is top notch. If you hold farther back on the butt of the cue like i do, it will feel really good. Also i recommend having a hard tip put on it. Really brings out the hit and moves the cue ball really well.

If you are serious about your game....Try a Blackcreek..His shafts have a great taper and are dead nuts straight.

Check with Hearne Hardwoods 1 - (888) 814 - 0007. They have some beautiful exotics burls but not sure on the spalted hickory burl.

Hey, I think i have shot on that table before. It rolls a little to the left, right then right left. Got to give the kids lot of credit for the love of the game. Wish i had the extra money i would ship them a nice outdoor table and cues.

Just wondering has the prices or demand gone up that high for HCS cues? If so mine should be worth 1000 more that this one. It only has ivory ferrules. Mine has 1 ivory ferrule 3 ivory joint protectors , Ivory joint and ivory diamonds in butt. Am I missing something...

These guys know what they are talking about. But if you want proof here is some. Your cue is Model FE-2 and level 3 cue. The value is 300 give or take 75 depending on value. Hope this helps. Hang on to it and it will go up in value a little but not like the Huebler Custom Shops.

Blackcreeks are fantastic custom cues...I shoot with one like in pic but with leather wrap. It is dead nuts straight, precision made and the shafts are the nuts. Its just a jam up cue. I've shot with a Southwest and it doesnt even come close to a Blackcreek.

It would almost impossible to bore that much weight out of the cue butt. It would really depend on the type of wood the butt is made of. It would have to be dense like ebony or cocobolo to make much difference. If you bore into the handle its going to affect the structure quality.

I would suggest a older model joss, jacoby or should be able to find a good falcon cue pretty cheap.
