    Ko Pin Yi

He also won the Bucharest Open this year against a brutal field. Beat FSR and Zilenski back to back in semis and final. https://www.azbilliards.com/pin-yi-goes-undefeated-downs-zielinski-in-finals-of-256-entrant-predator-bucharest-open/

Break Box 2022 US Open 9 Ball

If I recall, Emily said they might explore using the Template for the whole US Open including the Knock Out Rounds

Pool Announcers; What do you want?

This is the problem right? Lots of us were lucky enough to grow up with Accu-Stats and Billy doing the commentating and he was the best. Not only did he have all the qualities SJM likes, but he had personality! The closet right now is Karl Boyes. I like JJ but he's a little dry. Agree with SJM...

    Fusco-Davenport....on now

Fusco was always a tough competitor. At ‘92 US Open when Sigel destroyed the field, it was Fusco who gave him his only tough match. Got over 100 and lost tough match to Capt Hook.

why is there background music at Matchroom events?

I think Boyes said the background music for the upcoming US Open will be "Eruption" by Van Halen!

    Fusco-Davenport....on now

Totally agree. I attended twice and it was great. MatchRoom should think about hosting a tourney in Reno.

    Babe Ruth

Ruth held the record for consecutive scoreless innings pitched in the World Series for 43 years! He wasn't just a great hitter.

    RIP Bill Russell!

Think about it, from his Junior year in college til he retired, he played in the Finals every year but one! And he won every year but two! 2 NCAA titles, Olympics and 11 out of 13 NBA Titles. You could argue it would have been 12 out of 13 because he was injured in finals when the Celts lost to...

    for David Alcaide fb..

It's different protocol. Tournament play has tremendous pressure because less room for error, shorter race equals less time to make up for mistakes. Most of the gambling matches Ive seen are just marathon matches where it comes down to who can stay awake! LOL. More time to overcome errors. These...

Is Practice on a 10’ Table Advised for Matches on a 9’ Table?

I heard on some stream, that this is exactly what Fedor Gorst does - practice on a 10' table he has at home.

    Matchroom Asian 9 ball open

Why doesn't Matchroom just offer all the sanctioned tournements on the Match Room Live stream, and offer a subscription?

    Major Titles?

    I think Appleton won it.

    Major Titles?

I would add the Chinese 8 Ball World Championships. Incredibly hard title to win and most 9Ball players don't even bother to enter.

Perfect (1.000) matches in tournament play, since Accu Stats.

The 1992 US Open 14.1 Sigel vs Zuglan. Sigel wins the lag; Zuglan breaks, Sigel runs 150 and out. Accu-stants commentary by Grady, Weenie Beenie and Johnny Ervolino.

    Greatest Left Handed Players Ever?

I think Sigel was known for making hard shots and getting out from anywhere too, not to mention he shot straighter than Earl. Would have been great to see Sigel vs Filler with both in their prime playing 14.1 and 9Ball!

    Pool fads?

    9-ball would save Pool!

Matchroom Sport in Talks to Sell Minority Stake Worth $215M

As long as it's a MINORITY stake, I think it's OK. But as everyone knows Private Equity only knows one way -- leverage debt, dump it on the Company, squeeze as much money as possible out of the company for shareholders, dump the company and walk away leaving employees to pick up the pieces while...
