True, but sets are still a bit frowned upon as well. Length of play was a question, but the matches have not been ridiculously long. Also: one player winning more racks, but losing on sets. Not sure if that happened, but it wasnt anywhere mentioned. I haven't watched it all, but tried to see...

Seeing the video I somehow also feel bad for the man. Social media crucification is long lasting and often so damaging. He did something stupid and it's a sign of terrible sportsmanship - in our culture. Still I feel bad for him too.

Wish they would pad the video's with extra footage. It's 60% less exciting if you can tell there wont be a 3rd set.

I would want to see the rise of Alex Lely. If I recall correctly he started playing quite late, aged 16. Plus he's a fun personality with a bit of attitude. Would've been cool to see him venture off and slay hero after hero. Anyone got a story about him rising up the ranks?
