I had never heard of Shurtz until recently. One popped up on Marketplace and I'm be tempted to pick it up based on this thread.

The maker's initials. Made by Hector Villalobos from Fort Worth, TX. Says it's the second cue he's made with that logo, the earlier cues had a flying V logo.
