How are Revo shafts different today than when first introduced in 2016?

Same here, and I'd have to get a couple of them.

If you are worried about cancelling: Use a credit card like American Express that will give you a virtual card number and set it to expire in 30 days. A prepaid credit card will also work in this scenario. I'd also recommend using a new email address if you do this.

    I finally got it!

If you were unfamiliar, the term for something like this is a malaphor.

Other Carbon Fiber Shafts For Cuetec

I shot with one recently. Felt about the same as a Revo to me. The value at that point is in the interchangeable joint if you get a different cue.

    I finally got it!

It would largely depend on how well I know the person. If I didn't know them, I'd say something like "What a stupid thing to say in a competition."

Finding local cue repair service providers

I've had at least 15 shafts retipped at Austin Billiards and I haven't had any issues. Only "problem" I can recall is that they didn't have a few particular tips like a Caiden fighter but that was a few months ago.

Finding local cue repair service providers

What all do you need done? If it's just basic stuff like replacement tips like you said, Austin Billiards can do it. I use them quite a bit as they are just up the road from my office. They have done a good job for me. If memory serves, a Kamui Black Clear was like $40 or $45 installed. For...

    Ok Healing Carbon Fiber Cues

Karl Boyes played with an OK Healing shaft and said it was decent.

    CF infused Torrified shafts.

McDermott has done carbon coring in the Intimidator shafts for 20 years or more. I've had an i2 since 2005 and it's still a backup behind a Revo. It's probably the same or maybe slightly lower deflection than a 314-2 in my opinion. That said, I'd like to try a torrefied shaft with a carbon...

    Pawn shop predator

It was a used P3 with one Revo shaft. The butt had a few light dings but the shaft was perfect. I got a really good deal on it I think. No offense, but I think most of the SP2s are hideous.

    Pawn shop predator

Having managed a pawn shop in a former life, I'd almost guarantee that if you offered $500 cash they'd take it. I'd guess at that price they probably loaned $250 max, maybe $300 if it had been in a couple times before. For example, I bought a black no wrap P3 and a 12.9 Revo for $600 cash...

    Meucci's "The Pro Shaft"

I've got a Meucci sneaky with a Pro shaft. It plays LD about like a McDermott G-Core shaft, maybe even a bit better in my opinion. It is certainly lower deflection than a standard non-dot Meucci shaft. Bear in mind that I had already started shooting with a Revo when I got the Pro shaft. For...

    How to maximize Taom Chalk

I generally give it away at that point to someone that wants to try out more expensive chalk. Lets them do that and "forces" me to buy a new one. My current favorite is Kamui Roku. Who am i kidding? I usually have 2-3 more in my bag.

    Cue holder help

I'd have to weigh it to be sure, but I think it's about half the weight of a 5 cue Q-claw and 3/4 the depth or less. I believe it's the same depth as a 2 cue Q-claw is wide. I bought this specfically to go into a JB 4x8 case with a jump cue pocket. Works very well for my use case.

    Cue holder help

There is some flex to it but not a lot. I don't know exact numbers, but it's about the same weight as a 2 cue Q-claw in my opinion. I can weigh them later if someone wants exact numbers. It may just be my experience but it has worked well on many different surfaces for me.

    Cue holder help

I'm a fan of Colorado Cue Rest. I've got an earlier model and love that thing.

    Can I move a 9' GC3 in a short bed pickup?

Since you have an F150. you could also rent a 6x12 enclosed trailer from Uhaul or the like. In my area, they are $30/day.

    Can I move a 9' GC3 in a short bed pickup?

This would be my suggestion as well. The extra $100 or so would be well worth it.

Cue shaft: Best Bang for the Buck?

I concur with the folks that say Rhino if you want a brand new shaft and don't mind carbon. They can usually be had for $180 direct from Rhino. Shipping time varies if it comes from the warehouse in Texas or directly from Vietnam. Be aware that the factory tip isn't great but it's playable...

    Back pain while playing

Two things really helped me. I lost about 25 pounds and went to a naprapathic chiropractor. Turned out my lower spine was bulging forward and my lower vertebrae were splayed out in different directions. Wasn't cheap but eliminated probably 90% of my back pain in general and all of it playing...
